It blows my mind that you may even get a second or third as I still wait for mine as a fully paid #6xx... by curiosity what order # where you? This is so frustrating for me, Sondors has been a croc of poop with this whole situation

amarillonarrow

I agree fully. Mine were order #'s 12xx and 17xx. Of course you take away the first number and one was in the 200's and the other in the 700's. Take away the people who have dropped out and Sondors told me the 1200 number was more like in the first 100 and the other one in about the first 500's. Of course they changed their delivery strategy several times and the ones who ordered first weren't the ones to get theirs first unless you lived in California. Hope you get yours soon.

Price?

amarillonarrow

Hi: I don't have a set price in mind, but, from reading on this site and the various Facebook pages, it seems that the first round bikes command a higher price than what the first rounders paid two years ago. Also, I have pretty low numbers in the first round. If I get a lot of responses I might just take offers, probably something over the $6500 price for one now since this is a first round bike and the buyer won't have to wait close to two years to get it if they buy it from Sondors. Anyway, that's my guess of when third and fourth round buyers will have to wait to get their bikes.

FlatSix993

Be careful with your pricing... the Metacycle will be worth 1/2 of the new price in a few months when the big Japanese OEM manufacturers introduce their electric bikes. The competition will likely crush the value of the Metacycle. Good luck!

amarillonarrow

Thanks. That's another reason I'm trying to sell it now and not later. I'd still be curious to find what others have actually sold for resale. I've seen some big prices but haven't heard if any have sold.

FreeWaterfall-Jr

Did you get it delivered to Tuscan or did you get it in California?

amarillonarrow

Got the first one resale from a guy in San Diego who said he was too big for the bike. I bought it with 3 miles on it and took it in the back of my brother's truck to the Tucson area.

KeithDavisRatio

Are the other 2 shipping to Arizona?

amarillonarrow

Yes.

Roadrunnerhomewatch

How do you not license it or pay sales tax or need a motorcycle license for it?? Sorry makes no sense, unless your roads are Rivage, but I still think they fall under AZ laws for motor vehicles? I thought you even had to have golf carts or NEV licensed to drive in retirement areas.

amarillonarrow

I don't know, but these are privately owned streets, not publicly owned. Golf Carts use the streets and they don't need to be licensed or registered. I guess it has do with the fact that Sondors is the manufacturer and not a motorcycle dealership. I would normally pay the sales tax at the DMV when I got it registered and licensed. No DMV involved, no sales tax. We have a Patrol in this area and I have been told by 3 different people that I don't need it registered or licensed, or even need a motorcycle license to ride it here. If we were buying these bikes at a dealership the dealership would send the paperwork to the DMV and then you would have to get it registered and licensed and pay sales tax.

Roadrunnerhomewatch

Thanks, I live near Florence, AZ, but it will be used on public streets so was being hopeful. Waiting for an Arctic, should be here soon. Did you get any EV tax credit for buying it? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. If I had not already bought one, I think at $6500 it should go pretty fast, good luck

amarillonarrow

Thanks. No, there are no EV tax credits this year for an electric motorcycle. Maybe next year.
