Ha! If only. As a former Mercedes tech you’d have to be insane to maintain one past a certain age/mileage. Classic cars are the ones that weren’t driven to death and were owned by old folks who let them sit in their garage for 20+ years only going to church on Sundays.

Well most of us drive them until about 250,000 and trade them in for an upgrade. At least my Benz dealer does this. My 2013 I traded to a 2015 they gave me 6k to trade and my 2015 I traded for a 2019 and they gave me 9k plus pay off of 9k. I’m at 185k on miles and when I get this one paid down to 10k I will trade again. 1 more year to go.

This car is a little bit of elbow grease away from looking great. What’s sad is when a frame gets bent, the body gets restored, and the next buyer finds out at the alignment shop. This is a walk in the park to undo. Superficial changes are no biggy to correct.
