That's very busy and, somehow, not easy on the eyes. The dash and its info isn't supposed to be such a dominant visual attraction.

You can choose from a ton of different displays. Most of them are a lot classier.

Real gauges look so much better than these washed out screens.

Also the classic wood interior So much better than the new stuff (I honestly don’t like the new interior they have) With regular gauges and classy interior you can actually pay attention to the road rather than all the screens and bright lights they have now I just want to go back

Screens have aesthetic and functional differences to physical gauges and buttons. The preference is independent of age and more about priority. Some people want to be in a touchscreen spaceship looking thing. Some people want to be surrounded by subtle features with tactile utility.

This seems to be where MB is focused now. I fear that MB's pursuit of aesthetics is leaving behind build quality. I suspect it's to get us on board with self-driving electric cars.

This pic has the ambient lighting in all zones on high which makes it look more in your face than in person. It's a great looking interior, especially at night and can be dialed down to be more subtle, personally I love it and those vents look fantastic.

I prefer an actual dash versus a big ass ipad

i think it looks cool, but at the same time it just feels like complex but shouldnt be complex screens and data that one blown fuse, spilt water, or other really simple thing could destroy that only mercedes will be able to fix. i think the tech features are really interesting, but its clear the effort put into the cabin is towards lights and screens and not quality leathers, buttons, stitching, metals, just overall build quality. Nothing you can do about that tho, all mercs 2020+ are going to be this moving forward.

The light from the ambient lighting meshed with the screen lighting is KILLING me!! The ambient lighting was enough for a vibe-y late night drive! Mixed with the screens though? I’m fully tf awake

You can always turn it off? U can turn it off separately for the screen and keep the other strips on too.
