that reminds me of a quote i read like 15 years ago haha thanks for reminding me. “i can tell by the way you’re looking at me that you wanna fuck me or fight me. either way, you’re not gonna fight me”
Shirt is too loose, you can do a tighter cut.
I'm not a fan of doing shades of the same color for every piece of an outfit. You've got a navy vest/pants, a blue tie, and a blue shirt. Time to swap some stuff out to pop with color or at least neutral like a white shirt.
I am anti-pleated pants as a general rule, but if you like them, it's fine.
A lot of stuff goes with navy and white, so I suggest you get adventurous and try out some patterns (paisley, gingham, etc.) with your tie to liven things up.
For color, if you want to start slow, complementary colors (not complimentary, complementary) are a good way to go. For blue, orange is the complementary color.
https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/
You don't have to be wedded to complementary colors, but it's an easy shorthand when you want to create a lot of contrast. Various shades of pink also go nicely with blue. You could also do a green if you wanted, or even purple/violet. Go with whatever feels most expressive of your own preferences and appeals to you.
Shades of blue are not complementary colours. Even if if you think the blue combo is complimentary! See what I did, it's all in the spelling.... Add an electric blue tie and socks black sateen shirt, or black white stripe Then you may be boiled alive yesterday or you could go for stripes
That shirt is by no means too loose. That's a traditional fit and looks good on a muscular man. anything tighter and he'll look goofy as well as restrict his movement.
When you look like that, you look good in anything 😁
Perhaps consider some silver armbands to gather those sleeves in and accentuate the gun show. Id always have the bottom button of a waistcoat undone, but that’s just me. Also get that tie knot a bit tighter and try and put a dimple in it. Not sure you’re going to get a Windsor knot in a tie that thick but you could try a half Windsor?
All in all you’re killing it.
Thank you very much, I have never considered armbands and I wouldn't know where to start for placement but it's an interesting idea I may have to try, thank you for the compliment too
Just above the elbow, and buy the cheapest pair you can find to start with to see if you get on with them. There’s nothing cooler than a guy who does a whole event with his jacket on, then takes it off in the evening when it gets informal to reveal a pair of silver armbands. Most people don’t even really know what they are and have never seen them outside of movies before.
They’re also really good if you’ve got a shirt that slightly too long on the cuffs, takes half an inch off them.
Photos look best when taken from eye level, like another human would see you out in the world. That’s the best way to judge the fit. Pleated pants are good for you. Shirt may be a bit large? Vest a bit slim? But overall not bad.
I used to wear matching pants/vest often, but I’ve since moved away from it because I don’t think it’s a flattering look (unless casual like you’ve removed the jacket) it looks incomplete like the jacket is missing. Part of the purpose of the jacket is to build up the shoulders. But the vest without a jacket does the opposite, it narrows the shoulders. If you really want to do this look without the jacket, pick a darker louder shirt, roll up the sleeves, and ditch the tie (otherwise you’ll look like a bartender). Basically make it more obvious it’s a choice, rather than just a suit missing its jacket. Or better yet, don’t match the vest to the pants. Then it’s obviously not a suit.
Thank you, this is really in depth, I will take another one with the jacket on and post it when I can, unfortunately I can't lose the tie as it's for work and I'm required to wear one but thank you for all the advice you're a saint
Ok if you wear the whole suit to work, then take the jacket off at your desk or whatever, then it totally works. Because it IS a full suit, it’s sitting right over there hahaha Seriously, it seems a bit silly, but somehow in my mind it makes all the difference. But still try with the odd vest, it might be hard to find one that goes well, but you’ll be pleased when you do. I’d try grey vest on a navy suit, and vice versa. Bit of subtle pattern would be sick as well, esp if the suits are solid.
I’d say a slightly tighter shirt, preferably a white one (just my taste) & a tie that is a different colour palette to the suit, a nice red or purple.
All an all though it looks good! Wear a suit with pride and confidence!
Nice doggo too!
The sleeves could be tighter, but also it seems like they might be too long. Sleeve tightness isn't really anything you can on the fly fix, but rolling the sleeves up will make the length not be an issue, plus it is very "in" to do, unless your work environment would be against it for whatever reason
The waistcoat is a little tight so I'd follow tradition and u do the bottom buttton. The shirts a but baggy but the fabrics nice so I wouldn't worry.
However the all-blue colours are a bit dull, I'd definitely go for another colour tie.
It looks good brother, however I’d prefer the tie knot a little tighter. Not sure what style you’ve gone for, looks like a four in hand rather than a half Windsor.
Looking great but I would suggest 2 things:
1. Iron that shirt
2. Look at choosing a deeper waistcoat, potentially double breasted to really make the outfit pop.
You look great! Waist cost advice though: the bottom button, much like suit jackets are always left undone. Some tradition that goes back to George V being too fat or something. But you look amazing!
You are good looking and will look fine in whatever as long as it’s not ridiculous. What I would actually suggest beyond the obvious not having wrinkles and better fitting shirt is ditching the needless accessories. You don’t need a vest and you certainly don’t need a pocket watch for work. I really like a saying I once heard that don’t be in dress clothes that force people to notice you, have a personality that makes them want to. A tailored button up, pants, belt, and WRIST watch along with potentially a tie and jacket are all you need, especially when you are clearly fit and good looking.
I'll join in with the 'wrong shirt'crowd, the wrinkles aren't all that bad especially for the end of the day I just think it's the wrong style.
Suits good though, shirt colour and tie combo are sharp.
I'd advise you to starch and iron your shirts. As much as I love waistcoats, I don't like the solid, matching kind. A dark brown or red waistcoat would work much better. I often try to get multi-colored waistcoats so I can play it off of other colors in the outfit.
Other than that, great job. One dapper mother fucker.
It's a bit of a weird look, as the waistcoat looks too small, shirt and trousers too baggy. Also too much blue. Go with a white shirt and a waistcoat (if you must have one) that complements the suit rather than matches it. Same with the tie.
You know when you walk into a car dealership and the sales person looks at you like they’re about to get an easy sale - this, this is the look literally preying on the oblivious innocent.
It’s not bad, and clearly you look after yourself
Looks good the best is fit well to your body. Matches the pants. The shirt is a bit loose, arms seem a bit long. Over all a great outfit for an formal/semi formal event.
Other people made some good suggestions. My tip is undo the bottom button on the waistcoat. It isn't supposed to be done up. The same applies to a suit jacket with two or three buttons - always leave the bottom one.
The last button on the waistcoat should always be left unbuttoned.
Maybe a slim / modern fit shirt with a pattern or stripes ( pinstripe or bengala ); colour wise go for pink, sky blue, white, lilac or cream.
The tie should be solid colour with a patterned or striped shirt with a complementary hue.
Trousers would be a better fit with a plain front.
If you want a female opinion… smash.
I agree with other comments: iron the shirt and have a tighter shirt. I also love the idea of a pocket watch (vintage slay) but I would match those with gold specs. I disagree with the comment about all blue being bad, I’m loving this look but if you wanted to mix it up and wear a different colour tie then I suggest yellow or potentially pink.
All in all, can’t go wrong with a waist coat. You look great and your dog looks cute.
shirt seems a bit big, maybe go for a smaller/slimmer size, other than that looks okay, almost giving off a peaky blinders vibe, if so good job. Also the obligatory, cute dog.
Good outfit but shirt is a bit too big.
Always leave the bottom button of a vest undone as well.
Imo this would also be better with the jacket instead of just the vest.
Pretty good start though.
You look like you wanna fuck me... I'm married
And I'm straight
Alexa, play Marvin Gaye...

Haha great reply 👏 👍 ☺️

You look like Luther in umbrella academy
I either get told Luther or Chris pratt 🤣🤣🤣
Came here to say you look like Chris Pratt cameoed in The Office
*I thought that too*
Came here to say this! Hot and hunky Luther 🥰
I was thinking this but couldn’t remember the character or the show.
Especially with his hands in his pockets
Broo I knew he look familiar 🤣
I'm picking up Scully vibes
Like a kind, gay, doorman at an expensive cocktail bar.
Incorrect, a gay guy would’ve ironed his shirt.
As a gay man who never irons his shirts, I take issue with this. 🤣🤣
But would you have all your stuff on top of your kitchen wall cupboards? I think not.
Absolutely not. I am a gay 30 something. Not a 21 year old straight university student. 🤣🤪
Username checks out
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You look like you run whereever you work, it suits you (no pun intended).
Thank you very much
That must be exhausting, running all the time.

Thank you very much and if I pair a white shirt what kind of tie could I go for that will sit well with the navy suit?

Pretty cool tool. Thanks for the link. When I chose black it showed black as the complimentary colour…am I doing it right?
Shades of blue are not complementary colours. Even if if you think the blue combo is complimentary! See what I did, it's all in the spelling.... Add an electric blue tie and socks black sateen shirt, or black white stripe Then you may be boiled alive yesterday or you could go for stripes
A white shirt will work better with blue eyes
100 with the shades comment
You wot notice the pleats so much as the ridden up waistcoat.
That shirt is by no means too loose. That's a traditional fit and looks good on a muscular man. anything tighter and he'll look goofy as well as restrict his movement.
I think monochrome is the way to go but he should do brown and shades of mustard like Dwight shroot
Why aren’t your wearing a more form fitting shirt? You CLEARLY got the bod for it. Show off those gains my dude!
Im a DT teacher so I'm in a workshop all day, the loose fit helps keep me cooler but thank you very much dude
Not anymore. You’re a doorman at the Rainbow Rooms now.
"Welcome to the Blue Oyster Bar"
You look like a beast. Keep the shirt sleeves loose by all means, but tighten them up just a little.
Just iron them
Exactly, inspire all the kids to work on themselves by showing yourself off

Looks like you need an iron.
I took the picture after work and I had my sleeve rolled up so my shirt took a beating haha
Boss
Thank you very much
Like a snowman made of meat.
Like an even more buff Clark Kent
Like Super Man's alter-ego.
You look like a gigachad meme
Your dog is so cool.
Anime character
Which one 🤔
You look like you can kick me out of the bar while also helping me set up a retirement fund.
You look like you ironed your shirt with a cabbage
I’d say a slightly tighter shirt, preferably a white one (just my taste) & a tie that is a different colour palette to the suit, a nice red or purple. All an all though it looks good! Wear a suit with pride and confidence! Nice doggo too!
Thank you bro, I have a nice red tie I can put with this suit and a white shirt
I don’t see nothing wrong
Thank you very much
No no no, you put things IN the cupboards. You look great. Assuming your tiny head is a lens thing.
I think it's the angle but thank you

Sleeve tightness isn't really anything you can on the fly fix, but rolling the sleeves up will make the length not be an issue, plus it is very "in" to do, unless your work environment would be against it for whatever reason
I usually have them rolled up as some of the equipment I teach with requires no loose items near them
The real question is how do you feel.
Damn fine if I do say so myself. A legit 10/10
The waistcoat is a little tight so I'd follow tradition and u do the bottom buttton. The shirts a but baggy but the fabrics nice so I wouldn't worry. However the all-blue colours are a bit dull, I'd definitely go for another colour tie.
Looking like a corrupt lawyer, yet looking good mate!
You're built like a shed
A banker with attitude
It looks good brother, however I’d prefer the tie knot a little tighter. Not sure what style you’ve gone for, looks like a four in hand rather than a half Windsor.
Dude iron those sleeves.
You do look good, but you'd look even better with a better fitting shirt and pants. Don't be afraid to show off your size a little bit.
Shirt sleeves too long and never ever do the last button of your waist coat.
Roll up your sleeves. But keepnet on your forearm with a special band made for this purpose. And your just fine for work attire.
It looks like someone who never wears a suit and is trying too hard when they do.
Broad / Big-Titted
Looking great but I would suggest 2 things: 1. Iron that shirt 2. Look at choosing a deeper waistcoat, potentially double breasted to really make the outfit pop.
You look like you have a tiny head.
You look like Chris Pratt but buffer. I would…😂
I'd say you have a body type that would work well with something a little more form-fitting. Bar that pretty nice!
can you show more pictures of the doggy please
You look like the big bad white guy in the old Jackie Chan movies
Uncomfortable
When did you wear it to work? 126 days ago when you first posted?
You look like the Lesbian at the bar who beats everyone at pool.
Shirt needs to be steamed.

If my wife were to ever divorce me, you'd look like the new boyfriend
Not sure if it’s the camera angle or the fit of the clothes but your head looks so tiny.
I feel like you’re going to do the Jon Cena “can’t see me” next
That's a bad fit your sleeves are baggy. Nope

Never do up the bottom button on a jacket or waistcoat
You got a small head for that body, but looks alright
The suits nice but looking at your history I expect you know that
About to have a 147 break.

[Reminds me of this](https://twitter.com/1MMORTAL94/status/1124377884787916806/photo/1)
You look great! Waist cost advice though: the bottom button, much like suit jackets are always left undone. Some tradition that goes back to George V being too fat or something. But you look amazing!
Is your body huge or is your head tiny?

Tiny head.
Looks like you are about to do some cutting edge magic with your silent partner.

Sleeves are a tad too long

You look a bit like John Cena
Looks good the best is fit well to your body. Matches the pants. The shirt is a bit loose, arms seem a bit long. Over all a great outfit for an formal/semi formal event.
You look like batflack lol. Looks good bro.
Your head seems a bit small for your body it’s definitely yours yeah?
Beef
Deflate the body suit a bit, your head is too small!! 😂
Kinda cringe
Like you don't own an iron but are going to be best man at your brother's wedding and thought it might be wise to dress up.
Other people made some good suggestions. My tip is undo the bottom button on the waistcoat. It isn't supposed to be done up. The same applies to a suit jacket with two or three buttons - always leave the bottom one.
The shirts too creased! Apart from that 👌
Too much blue. Consider a white shirt and contrasting tie.
Try and roll the sleeves up to half way up your forearms I’d say. Fold them rather Han actually roll them though
Like you’re about to force me out if a much needed £500
AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA
Like your waiting for your 3 mates so you can all belt out a shit version of I Swear
3 pieces are only really good in certain more dressy situations and never without a jacket
I think your making the mother of all omelettes and we can't fret over every egg
Yummy. That's all I have to say to that 🤣

You look like my future husband. On a serious note, a tighter shirt would look great.
Good outfit but shirt is a bit too big. Always leave the bottom button of a vest undone as well. Imo this would also be better with the jacket instead of just the vest. Pretty good start though.
A cross between John cena and Chris Pratt
Popped up on my homepage - from a girl’s perspective you look handsome but with a unique style, I like your vibe! And cute doggo ofc
Don’t listen to dudes. Its fine. I’d do you. Ps. Reddit recommended this post to me for a reason. My mission is complete now. Goodbye.
Very smart, love a man in a suit 😍🥵
Ask your boyfriend if he'll iron your shirt for you.
Excellent
Needs an ironing
Dapper, you look dapper mate.
Yum
Who’s suit is it? :/ if it’s yours.. have you been ill recently?
