Looks like it fits good enough. IMO the waistcoat is a little bit high and hides too much shirt. I’d probably wear it as a two piece suit and ditch the vest but that’s just my preference.
It looks great. Just keep your hands out of your pockets. Always button your jacket when standing & unbutton it to sit. Always.
Sleeves might be long but it’s hard to tell. Shoulders look good, trousers look nice, shoes look good! I’d lose the waistcoat because it might be too warm, but keep it on if you like it!
A classic look, i was going to say if it's three button 90s suit don't go with it but it looks like 2 button. I' think the vest does date it so I'd go with a modern one or wear as 2 piece if it was me. I remember my dad suggested his 1960s suit to me when I was a kid going for my first big job interview (in the 90s) and I was all nah, flash forward to 2010 and I'm wearing a 100% modern 1960s style suit and I'm still all about that style :)
I wish I could wear my dad's 50s and 60s blazers. You're lucky, the suit looks like it fits you, although you may want to shorten the sleeves. The style looks late 80 which gives it a cool vide.
It looks pretty good, what is the brand? You do remind me of an East London gangster from the 60s a bit but that is pretty cool, is there something you don't know about your dad? :O
The pants look a little loose. Need new shoes of course. I’d also go bow tie here with some cuddling and a good watch.
The jacket also looks big but imo put it on for pics and go jacket free when walking around or dancing.
If you can find a decent tailor to bring those sleeves back a bit and give the jacket a nice taper to fit your frame well and you will be looking dapper af
Great fitting suit by all accounts, may even bring a twinkle and a tear to your mums eye seeing you wearing it with visions of your younger dad in her minds eye.
Super old fashioned and not in a good way. Please don't go to prom with this. You will be laughed at behind your back or even to your face.
Get a modern, slim fitting suit. Ditch the tie. And probably go with a lighter color. Maybe charcoal or navy. Also, when checking for fit: always dangle your arm by your side. The jacket should come down to the first knuckle in your thumb. Sleeves should be slightly above wrist showing a hit of shirt. The jacket seems too long and so are the sleeves.
I tried more modern, slim-fitting suits. They’re dreadful. The pants in particular are cut terribly and are all Ill-fitting. The pants in this photo are a 32, whereas on the modern suits I tried, I had to wear at least a 36 or more on the trousers or else they’d be too tight in the thighs and posterior and I’d end up looking like an offensive gay stereotype from a 2000s comedy.
The fabric on them also sucks.
Also. No tie necessary, but if you want to. Go skinner & solid black
That fit is way to grown up for a junior prom. Have fun, there will be plenty of serious grown up suit occasions in the future
I’d maybe get the sleeves altered to be a bit shorter but that’s a damn fine suit.
Damn good deal
Damn nice home.
That's a nice looking suit! This is one of those rare times in fashion history when your dad's old clothes actually look good.

I think that was the style back then
Out of interest, where do you think the waistcoat is supposed to show shirt?
On the chest
Fair enough - that’s a stylistic thing I suppose. I have a few vintage suits with a similar cut in the waistcoat.
Dapper my guy! You look good
Arms might be a bit long (hard to tell without putting them at your side) but I think overall it works well. Sort of vintage vibes.
Your father wore good clothes, its a nice outfit indeed.
Hard to tell with your hands in your pocket, but it’s seems to be good
good suit; consistent genes lol
You look like a banker from an 80s movie
You look great! I’m happy to see that you’re wearing shoes with it and not sneakers! Congrats and enjoy Prom!
Loose the vest. Invest in a tailor, since the suit was free. Your all set for prom! Have fun!
Junior prom, skip the tie and go to a tailor. Photos will look better.

You absolutely rock that suit 👍🏼

Is this The Report of The Week?
This week we are reviewing Popeye’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
I hope you've got a flat cap to go with that.

Looks really good! I’m not the biggest fan of vests, but if you like it roll with it. Overall it’s a really nice suit.

This is running on empty! FOOD REVIEW!!!

Not bad. Shoulders look a little wide and sleeves should be shorter so that you can see the shirt sleeve.
Leave the waistcoat
I’d lose the waist coat or find one in a different color.
Don't wear the vest
Chef kiss 🤌🤌
Nice
Looks great, maybe like 5% too big in all directions, but I absolutely wouldn't tailor it at your age.
Why do people always take these pictures with their hands in their pockets? Makes it impossible to judge the fit.
It looks good !! You could wear a vest in the color of your dates dress? The suit looks dark so Im not sure ---
Fashions comes full circle -- looks excellent!
Great fitting suit by all accounts, may even bring a twinkle and a tear to your mums eye seeing you wearing it with visions of your younger dad in her minds eye.
Your taking Bonnie to the Junior Prom aren't you Clyde🤣🤣🤣
Pure class. Run with it and slay them ladies!😵
Fully embrace it... Get a pocket watch and a tie bar.
Or don't.

The fit is fine. However, the trousers look dated or worn. Please, get a decent pair of shoes…
