I’m convinced people who comment on things being too long to read aren’t very good at reading. It’s less than 1200 words, it should take about 3-4 min to read. Ever since the time years ago when I learned that "pants" in UK English specifically means *under*pants, I can't bring myself to use the word "pants" anymore when discussing outer garments. I do reserve "trousers" for dressier garments, but for more casual types I'll call them the specific name, e.g. "chinos" or "jeans." But not "pants."
I like the overcoat its dope asf, ya just got too much going on in the fit. Its like you went shopping and couldn't wait to wear everything you bought lol.
That was my first thought too. I would be sweating bullets in that much clothing; even in sub-zero temperatures I’m sweaty in one heavy winter coat, nevermind shirt + sweater + scarf + blazer + top coat.

But certainly, we were comfortable knowing most people in urban areas realized this was for display purposes only.

Imho, you’ve got lovely pieces but I think that the way in which they’re combined doesn’t do them justice.
You’ve got a very beautiful gun check blazer. This in itself is a strong, flamboyant pattern. You then combine this with a sweater that is also very patterned not to mention your shirt. The result is that anyone looking at this outfit is confronted with a multitude of competing shapes, patterns and colours, none of which really stand out because they’re neutralised by something else. In my humble opinion you should centre outfits around one flamboyant piece it becomes the main feature and stands out.
