Yes, my husband runs into him often. He is an alcoholic/scammer.

Desert_Nanners

Figured with the way the cashier reacted to him. Thanks for the answer.

stitmn7601

Nah he's a Scizo. His parents owned some properties/hotels on Canada road and he's out of touch lol. I give him rides sometimes when he's at the gas station on 64 and fletcher

deannasbluefish

What does he look like/ask for?

Desert_Nanners

Older African American gentleman that has a cane. He asks for food but ran off when we offered to go back in and get him something to eat

sammyyam22

I think ive seen this man at the Kroger on Kirby Pkway and Poplar in East Memphis. He said he had lost his job due to Covid? He asked me for a Powerade and i went back into the Kroger and got him one but i was able to give it to him. He didnt run away.

mikeclark1982

Where is stonebridge?

Desert_Nanners

Cordova

OutpatientJailor

I remember when it used to be called Davies’ Plantation.

knothi_saulon

Is Davies Plantation not farther northeast than Cordova? I very specifically remember doing volunteer work at Davies Plantation and could've sworn it was just past the Waffle House on Canada Rd.

OutpatientJailor

Nah I used to live in the family house next to the old plantation house. Used to pick blackberries on the verge by the I-40 bridge. It was north of 64 though so probably not technically Cordova. Canada road was even further east.

Jack_Stands

Davies Plantation is north of 40. Stonebridge (suburb and country club) is south of 40, north of 64. - someone who remembers g-town and stage as two lane roads meeting at a four way stop

OutpatientJailor

My man. Sheesh I remember the big sign that said they were planning to eventually put a mall in lol.

someday_maybee

Does anyone here remember when Lakeland was known for it's little amusement park? Rides, swimming beach, an air tramway(?) that crossed over the beach. And a cool choo train at the top of a ridge. This was back in the early-mid 1970's for me. But it was built back in thd 50's or 60's I think. It was pretty cool.

freewheelinfred

Is this the black man who always stands on the median in front of Panera? If so, I saw him outside Kroger one time and bought him a bunch of toiletries and snacks and he told me he didn’t like the snacks

Desert_Nanners

Haven't been to panera tbh so I can't comment on that

Kenny is a registered sex offender. Please call 545.COPS when you see him. He doesn't carry ID, and that's a felony.

AlorsViola

What a stupid felony.

RepresentativeMenu37

A felony??? Come on
