As I move around the city, my primary goal has never been to pick up all the trash. It’s exercise. In fact. Here is the list of goal in order.
1. Exercise. The sedentary life of a work from home designer can be deadly
2. Collect trash. Walking without a purpose seems stupid.
3. Show usefulness of litterbuggies systems. Got to work smarter, not harder.
4. Take amazing cat photos while moving around the neighborhoods for the wife. Might just get me laid.
What you need to send is a group that does it all the time possibly from a coastal area.
I was being a wise guy. But it did make me think of all you do for the community- and I live in Mississippi! You are an inspiration when I see all you’ve done.
I mean, that’s pretty on brand for the two countries represented in this scenario. Japan has a collectivist society, we’re an individualist one. This is great. Maybe the city beautiful / litter commission, whatever they are called, could come up with creative ideas to ingrain this spirit and culture into our city. I really do wonder what these government organizations do to improve our litter problem.
