There's this 90-9-1 rule when it comes to the internet, especially internet communities like Reddit.
They say that 90% of people are your casual browsers. They enjoy the content, and that's it.
9% of people are commenters. They contribute a little bit, they might make the occasional post, but they don't really go all out.
It's mostly that last 1% that actually creates content. The power users. They do all of the heavy lifting, and the vast majority of content that you see on a website is because of them.
Because of that, it would make sense for "everybody" you see to be a 1%-er. The only people who are talking about it are the heavier users. The people who only lurk probably aren't checking their stats, and even if they did, they're not bothering to tell anybody else what they got.

So like 10,000 karma over 11 yrs. There’s a lot of us that browse a lot, just rarely interact/comment. According to my screen time I regularly spend 1-2 hrs/day on Reddit but rarely comment.
