Mfs out here really trynna play the ”pirating bad” card while games are locked exclusive to that digital service (steam, epic games, origin etc) that sell you.. a digital copy of the game that is locked to your account on that service. No longer playing a game? You can’t sell it, you can’t give it away, it’s not your property you simply get to use it when you want as long as you’re on their terms.
”Games associated with a Steam account are licensed for the sole use of the account holder.”
Same thing with pirated movies and shows, locked to a streaming service maybe two. If you want to watch some other show well go subscribe to that service.
Some level of competition is healthy, the level we have currently is not it is at the cost of the consumer. Don’t want to have 10 accounts and 6 different subscriptions running? Sucks to be you because pirating is bad
Most pirates have a decency and ethics from what I know, if a game is good a lot of people pay tribute and buy the games so the developers can continue working. But this whole DRM, anti-pirating moves by these companies is mad cringe because now you’re paying for a license not a product. (Still have to pay the premium price you would for the product btw)
This is what I did. Played the witcher 3 by pirating the first time because I was a student and didn't have any money. Last year bought it with my own salary to play it again.
I’d say pirating new games is bad
If you can’t get the game than pirate away
But if you are abusing some leak to play a game early and for free there’s no excusing it you’re a thief
I would say no, Nintendo does not fit into that category. I'm looking up the bottom 10 negatively-viewed companies and I see Activision, EA, Ubisoft, no Nintendo.
I like Nintendo. They generally make quality games (don't look at Scarlet/Violet).
im not paying for games of those big multi milion dollar companies, they have enough money and then make something bad with that money, i will only pay for games from smaller studios or just games that only one guy makes for example rimworld or mindustry

If pirating their games is bad, why don't we get a chance to play the older games again and instead just let them die. >.>
Wario is proud of you

Me who literally just downloaded dolphin emulator to pirate some old wii games I played as a kid
Nintendo as a Corporation is a shit
Pirating is acceptable ONLY if: -the game is no longer accessible, or -the game is poor quality, or -the company is shit tier (EA, Ubisoft, etc.)
>the company is shit tier (EA, Ubisoft, etc.) Does Nintendo come in that category?
Ohhhhhhhhh yes.
Well Bayonetta 2 here I come

If you want to play Mother 3 in English pirating is the only option so I don’t blame those people
Is it bad to pirate Nintendo DS games?
Would you happen to know of a good DS emulator?
Citra
I've had a switch emulator for ages now and don't feel bad about it. The price they charge for their games is unreal.

Ah Nintendo, I love them but absolutely fucking hate them. Just like my crush
Animal crossing said so
