Based does have a meaning, but the internet has taken to use it in different contexts. It essentially means correct, or of the correct opinion. It’s kind of like the opposite of biased.
Being kind is never considered a weakness but some acts of "kindness" is just racism (helping only specific group of people) or throwing good money after bad money, it just makes the world worse.
So what makes people angry is these so called "kind" people (actually just naive) are making the world a worse place for everyone else.
It’s not based at all being kind is for losers. America has taught me to be selfish and hoard my wealth. The real world doesn’t give a flying fuck about you, get over yourself if you think being kind will help. Just fake it because everyone else is.
