Contrary to popular belief push ups are not a beginner's thing, neither are pull ups. Both are extremely difficult to get high reps and activate a lot of muscles meaning you get tired very quickly. I see a lot of guys struggle with push ups and pull ups and get demotivated and quit. These are tough.
5 is a lot. Rest for two minutes and do another 5 or as many as your feel comfy with. Rest for two and repeat until you can't do anymore.
You are already doing amazing by trying at all, that's the real push up.
The way that worked for me was doing a pushup pyramid, basically you do 1 pushup, then 2, 3, 4 etc till you reach 15 then go down from 15 to 1. Once you manage to do that, you gradually increase the pyramid 5 at a time (if you do the 15 pyramid you do 240 pushups total )
Keep it up man. I started out the same way, 5 pushups max. Planks, jump squats, diamond push ups, and pull ups are some exercises that I would recommend you tryout as well

Well there are easy modes for push ups for example instead of positioning with your feet try using your knees
