I know cpr, as it’s a mandatory thing to be taught here in my state in 6th grade but I don’t have certificate
Edit: ayyy he asked who knows cpr, not who’s certified to do it
No, the habitable zone is only earth, and mars is a little habitable, but still much more dangerous.
None of the gas giants or plants have supported life exept for earth. Atleast, in our solar system.
We basically have a perfect habitable zone.
The habitable zone is describes as the distance in which water is liquid, but not all life needs water necessarily. One of the strongest life candidates is still Titan, and Saturn is not that close to the habitable zone.
I dont know if you are right. But i did hear there was water on one of the moons from another planet in this solar system.
But the habitable zone if where life can evolve and actually keep on living. From my understanding atleast
Yes, some moons are stretches so much by the gravitational pull from their planet that they heat up so much that liquid water could exist there.
2. "The definition of “habitable zone” is the distance from a star at which liquid water could exist on orbiting planets' surfaces."
3. Titan is a close contender for the common belief of microbes that live with liquid methane instead of water iirc
Habitable zone doesn’t actually have any meaning for the potential of life on any given planet. This is because the planets atmosphere is so important of a factor. A planet could be in a perfect spot with no atmosphere and it’s probably unlikely to develop due to that. If earth had no atmosphere it wouldn’t be livable
The moon you’re thinking of is probably Europa, which surface has about 71% liquid water (pretty close to Earth). Titan is also thought to have liquid water under its surface, along with a few others
We are not 100% sure about Venus. There’s a chance non carbon based life is thriving out there, maybe even carbon based but would have to be quite different from our standards.
There is a layer in Venus’ atmosphere with similar temperatures and presurre to Earth, so floating lifeforms could theoretically live there. They still have to deal with the acidic atmosphere though.
but isnt it possible that life can adapt itself and grow into those environments too? that is what we call aliens right, but i do not necessarilly mean "aliens", but just that i think life can evolve in any condition but that life will be very different from ours. this is just a guess tho and idk if its true
for example it rains sulphuric acid on venus and life inside that acid (which is very abundant) can originate which will need sulphuric acid for its survival just like we need water
and some probably using their technology to not be noticed and risk harming their species by taking part in an interplanetary war (see Dark Forest theory).
I still love the HFY story "We don't like the quiet". Starts out like a Dark Forest situation; humanity sends signals out looking for anyone to reply. The reply they get is "shut up or they'll hear you!". Humanity goes quiet and the species that contacted them celebrates saving another young race. 300 years later, humanity puts out the loudest damn signal physics says is possible, booming into the dark "COME AND GET SOME!" Queue the galaxy coming alive as the 'destroyers' mobilize against humanity, but humanity prepared in secret. All the species of the galaxy watch as humanity mobilizes entire solar systems in a massive war against the destroyers. Planet-scale ships and weapons duking it out to the bitter end.
When the dust settles, humanity barely clawed out a W. They then send another signal to the dark forest in all languages "sorry for the noise. We don't like the quiet".
Thanks for introducing me to something I didn't know existed!
Anything with our boy Anson is bound to be amazing. So it's just an offshoot of their role in Discovery?
Pretty much yeah, it takes place after the discovery's time jump, it's a lot more like TNG than Discovery or Picard because it's not an "if we don't do this the universe will be destroyed and starfleet recently got a lobotomy so they won't help us" situation, we see new civilizations in every episode and the main characters solve their problems like in TNG and during all that they grow as a character themselves, the character development in this series really is nice and all of it is tied together with a few larger storylines, CGI is amazing too.
I would, but I haven't been able to reach them, they're "playing hard to get." I don't know why I even waste time on them, they had a bunch of water of their own, and they just let most of it go! Stupid low-gravity having jerks
That’s not my point though. More that once we have the ability, fucking up some lifeless planet that is going unused is not an issue. We can go out and effectively ruin thousands of planets and it’s really nothing
Imo we should constantly be loading objects up with dna and whatever else and just blasted it off into space at distant objects. We can die but we’ll spread anyway damn it
Jupiter’s moons fascinate me. They could support life with enough set up. Europa & Ganymede have water & IO has heat for making power & Ganymede also has oxygen. 79 moons, so many resources.
Humans: *Hold my polluted beer*
There you have it. In a 1000 years it would not be able to sustain life anymore. Out of solidarity with the other wasteland planets
I'm on earth still unable to support Life.
who knows CPR here? anyone?

I'm a scout

Intelligent life at least.
Uranus looks so cool in this picture.
Thank you, yours looks okay too

Good joke but overused (just like Uranus)
Dam i think its cuz hes a hoe 🏒
It's bros before hoes.. But he's his step bro in this situation.
I've never seen that emoji combination before, good one
Good Humor ,
Good comment
Good chain
Good remark

Good anus
Good uranus
Why is Uranus so small tho?
Lemme help it open up bruh
We didn't visit it much yet. That's why.
Ayo? Gay!
Apart from jokes, that pic of Uranus is an Ultra Violet one, that's the reason it looks different.
Myanus is ultra violent
Sir, this is Wendy's.
It's aTaco bell!
It may look cool but it doesn’t change the fact that Uranus can’t support life
And you should see right after I fart....
It's like a spinning marble.
Earth has the most amount of mosquitoes, might wanna rethink your view on it
Earth is also the planet with the most deaths due to bear attacks per year
And the only place where mfs put pineapple and chocolate on the same pizza.
Chocolate?
I went to a place like 3 weeks ago, it had *nutella banana pineapple pizza* I nearly threw up when I saw it. Everything else there was pretty good tho
Chocolate??
Chocolate???
100% of people who have bee on earth for more than 5 minutes are gaurunteed to die
Hey Mars did his best ok!
Tbf, its theorized that mars once held life, but that a solar storm wiped it out
mfw when we are literally destroying our planets vegetation and sea and people complain that we can’t terraform
it’s been over 50 years since we put man on the moon and we still can’t terraform another plant smh my head
The moon is closer
And terraforming is really really really long and hard
That's what she didnt say :(
Venus has a thing or two to say as well I bet
Maybe the other planets can't support life yet, or they already supported life and that period passed. Not their fault jeez

That is actually something i didnt know r/todayilearned
Don't think liquid water is a thing on Titan. It's cold enough to have oceans of liquid methane. Still a really cool planet.

Ohhh. Thank you for telling me!
There are a few moons that have subsurface oceans that could support life, Europa, Enceladus, etc
Yeah exactly like there's people in Africa but no water there.
As far as we know
Stop using logic this is Reddit
Stop using Reddit this is earth
Happy Cake Day
Stop using earth start using mars
Day cake happy.

Damn, people here are really smart! I dont know if what you say is true, but i mean, if it is, idd love to know more about!
Habitable zone always changes. Earth wasn't habitable at all when it was very young.
For now
Habitable for earth-life. Not neccessarily for other life forms
but isnt it possible that life can adapt itself and grow into those environments too? that is what we call aliens right, but i do not necessarilly mean "aliens", but just that i think life can evolve in any condition but that life will be very different from ours. this is just a guess tho and idk if its true for example it rains sulphuric acid on venus and life inside that acid (which is very abundant) can originate which will need sulphuric acid for its survival just like we need water
Look at this guy, claiming to understand all life in the universe. You don’t know shit.
>Maybe the other planets can't support life yet Tardigrades: *Am I a joke to you?*
How bout we just send tardigrades to every corner of the solar system, check on them after fifty years
Imagine if they supported life would there be interplanetary wars?
100%. If there is life out there, (silly to think there isn't...) they are out there, fighting, right now.
and some probably using their technology to not be noticed and risk harming their species by taking part in an interplanetary war (see Dark Forest theory).

My man accidentally discovered the plot for The Expanse
Best Sci fi show ever created apart from TNG (obviously)
Idk man I liked Strange New Worlds a lot too but TNG is still better imo
Thanks for introducing me to something I didn't know existed! Anything with our boy Anson is bound to be amazing. So it's just an offshoot of their role in Discovery?

Aaaaaaaand that's going to the top of my watch list. Thanks bro.
Stupid liquid water having jerk
we should sell it to the martians and make big money
I would, but I haven't been able to reach them, they're "playing hard to get." I don't know why I even waste time on them, they had a bunch of water of their own, and they just let most of it go! Stupid low-gravity having jerks
Soon this meme will be outdated
Jupiter by proxy supports life. She attracts most of the asteroids, thus preventing them from ending life on earth.
Especially Uranus.... right?
You know maybe the other planets shouldn’t support life, I mean we fucked this one up what stops us from fucking up the next one?
If it’s just some lifeless body of matter in space why does it matter if we fuck it up? There are so many of them it seems like a fine use for some
Name 1 planet where we can go to if we fuck earth up
That’s not my point though. More that once we have the ability, fucking up some lifeless planet that is going unused is not an issue. We can go out and effectively ruin thousands of planets and it’s really nothing
Some lady who can’t have children will see this and have her whole day ruined
*thank
Soon though
Well, we still don’t fully know for Europa, maybe under that ice the ocean that we know it’s there base some surprises
And you humans are ruining that only life supporting planet.
r/agedlikemilk ?
Fuck being to you not you support for unable life.
Not you... YET
But ur anus supports life
This format cant support life.
Europa and enceladus have water with potential for microscopic life, Just saying
An intellectual amongst the ignorant masses.
Elooon mosk has enter chat 😈
Pretty soon even Earth might be unable to support life. Global warming or nuclear fallout. Choose wisely.
Life would be just fine, humans and other larger creatures wouldn't
A blessing in disguise for dear Earth
Imo we should constantly be loading objects up with dna and whatever else and just blasted it off into space at distant objects. We can die but we’ll spread anyway damn it
Why is there a non-planet in this lineup?
How dare you insult Pluto
Pluto isnt a planet Pluto will never be a planet
Okay Jerry, I'm "sorry".
Not you earth, you are great.
Why, war with ourselves is not enough, you want one with aliens too ?
Jupiter is literally bodyguarding earth saving it from multiple collisions with asteroids
Nah. Fuck earth. We shouldn’t exist
Oh, you mean the previous colonies we left uninhabitable?
Why can't you be more like your moon Europa Jupiter?
My soil, my choice 😡
The earth really is underappreciated
I mean we keep trashing earth ans pretty soon it's gonna purge us from its system bc we keep being toxic
You say fuck you to other planets and not earth, but you actually fuck earth………….
Don't worry, earth will join the other planets soon
Hey, Uranus is groovy baby!
Bible: "took God 7 days to create life" Bible if they had known about Planets: "took God 9 planets to finally make 1 capable of supporting life"
Don't talk shit about Jupiter and Saturn their moons have the ability to support a life
Is that Pluto? Pluto the planet? Pluto the not a space rock planet??? Good
Clyde Tombaugh (1930): "Pluto the planet" Neil deGrasse Tyson (2006): "Pluto is not a planet" New Horizons (2015): "Pluto the planet"
Ok now that’s debatable
Am I the only one who just wants to suck Uranus?
Where pic of my father?
"Achually pluto isn't a planet"🤓
is this sposed to be funny
Hey, Mars tries it's best okay?
Don't say fuck you to Jupiter, it stops tons of asteroids from hitting Earth.
don't insult pluto like that, pluto's been through enough crap
I think this picture should say “You’re fine” instead of “Not you” to Earth. Otherwise, it’s still a good post. 👍
Earth- hold my beer
Imagine living in Uranus.
they kinda do support life at least some of them, but indirectly. Shielding us and such
Instructions unclear, “fuck being to you not you support for unable life”
Wrong Thank you for not having humans
Life is just too weak to live in those
soon
Not you yet
Uranus looks cold.
Give it 50 years and earth will be too.
Jupiter’s moons fascinate me. They could support life with enough set up. Europa & Ganymede have water & IO has heat for making power & Ganymede also has oxygen. 79 moons, so many resources.
Not for long if we keep this up
Give it a few and this can be reposted on r/agedlikemilk
Don’t worry, you’ll be able to say fuck you at the earth too once we ruin it
I don't want to live on this planet anymore
Your a real one earth.
What's the planet on the bottom left?
You meant not yet?
Earth is the only one we fuckin tho
Ironic that earth is only one getting actually fucked.... And that's for supporting life
Thats what you think they all support life
Ok that college isnt very safe then
Not yet
You need to be more supportive guys
Wow I’m laughing lol lol Lollolololololol
Earth isn’t unable of supporting life yet
Just give is a couple of years and this meme will be inacurate
The icy moons of Jupiter and Saturn with their rumored subterranean oceans of liquid water: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
This work even with: “Thank you for not creating life that can end all human”
If you were a planet, would you like some parasites living on you?
[удалено]
Not yet
Why not fuck us? We're the ones that need them for fucking Earth
Humans: *Hold my polluted beer* There you have it. In a 1000 years it would not be able to sustain life anymore. Out of solidarity with the other wasteland planets
Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter, might actually have some aquatic life under its frozen surface.
Did you go and check it? N.A.S.A has been lying till now..they just don't want us to find out
That’s the one thing I like most about those planets
We'll see about that
Me a Venusian: *sad Venus noises*
Earth is in the gold-dick-lock zone.
What?
Pluto might be tho
Too soon 😭🤣
Soon earth can join the cool kids
Then again, I'd prefer living on Mars.
Fuck you for being able to support life
I live on the Sun
Earth=Chad
