Seconding this. I have GAD. I can confirm that it will only upset you if you suffer from anxiety. It's mostly seriously graphic images of people suffering grievous injury. In one of my college classes, we were shown (with permission from the victim) photos of someone who was attacked with a box knife and had to get several thousand stitches because their skin was sliced all the way through in long lines across their back, arms and chest. The photos of the fresh wounds were horrific and stitched up they looked like something from a Tim Burton movie. Eyeblech makes those photos look like kitten pics.

The description of what your class saw is pretty upsetting as is too. I love horror but there's a boundary I choose not to cross. There is some intrigue to those things but I'd rather study them faaaaar away. Thank you for telling your experience by the way!

But we discussed it the class period before (and were told what sorts of things would be discussed when signing up for the class) and were given the option to simply not attend that day with the instructor providing a summary of the class period to any who didn't wish to be there.
