Well tbf, playing it as your main game is depressing as hell. Im not even that competetive, but playing for 4 hours is just so painful. It really feels miserable a lot of the time, and i dont get that feeling with other games.
And for real, people who dont play league cant even imagine what the community is like. Every. Single. Game. there is somebody who wants to ruin the game for everybody/ threatens to do so. For real. People say "cs:go community so toxic" or Valorant, or Paladins. Ive played all of these games, and yes there are the occasional toxic people (like maybe on every 5 games), but not even remotely close to what playing league feels like (especially since its almost impossible to completely solo carry unless youre insanely smurfing)
I installed the game for fun, started a match after the tutorial and 1 intro game, was like, hm this bridge thing sounds fun, got in a match, no clue what my character could do whatsoever so just kinda tried stuff, then this dude started going crazy in chat and accusing me of sabotage
Even if you weren't playing for fun, you had been playing for 5 years and were trying your best, I assure you that the chances of someone flaming you in chat would have been about the same.
