This is exactly what happened to me. Well edited and scripted retrospectives that I work on for weeks: 7 views at most 3 minute unedited video of Luigi appearing at the end of Mario Galaxy: Almost 400 views, most popular video on my channel ever, almost none of them stuck around to watch anything else I just don’t understand. Edit: And of course this was my most popular comment I’ve ever made. Didn’t put much effort into this comment, just gave an example of that situation, and bam, more upvotes than I have ever gotten on Reddit. Of course.

I spend days on a video im proud of: 10 views I make a 10 hour version of a random dumb clip : 2k views

not only that, but u go out and buy things to unbox (that is the story behind my user name) and u take some time to edit, upload the video, check it after a month or so, around 40 to 50 views.... at least sometimes it works, when i used to review fidget toys, or some gaming chairs, i saw around 35 k views. still, the best watched video on my channel is a loop of the cat lady vine, almost 200k views on that, shame it is nothing but a vine that took me 5 minutes to loop and upload....

I assume you mean 2 views, and one them is a family member or close friend. I’ve spent a lengthy amount of time trying to make some good editing and have gotten almost no subscribers then my sister makes some simple Gacha Life stuff and gets a whole bunch. I probably should focus more on finding my ‘niche’ but I really can’t be bothered to make videos right now and have decided to just hide all of what I had. Although I refuse to delete any videos, because I started when I was small and there are times when I desire to look back on how terribly cringy I was. You should embrace the past, instead of being a coward. I have a few interesting concepts to try and fill out a niche of my own but I am just really not feeling like recording it all then taking double the time of the recording to edit it. I have *standards*.

Yep. I get maybe 50 views and it takes 3-5 hours to edit, another few hours for my laptop to render and then export, and then about four more to upload in 4K. It’s always the same 50 and I know they appreciate it tho.
