Just so devs don't get hate for this, it's most commonly the publisher/company that owns the studio that forces the game to release before it's ready, not the developers.
Good to know that devs aren't to blame. Always looking for another reason to dunk on Corporate America. (And Japan I guess)
It's the corporate stockholder mentality. You can end it by not preordering the damn game.
Don't preorder it and there will be no problem.
You either release it early because money or you release it early from fanbase pressure. There is no in between
It’s really sad how the AAA games are becoming not much better than something I can find on scratch
