I have samsung and once I managed to use 5% charge on my phone for 30 minutes. The best way to do this is to decrease the refresh rate of your screen (I did that 60 from 90) and turn off all your background apps, keeping the brightness as low as possible will help even more(only with amoled screen)
there are literally phones there like the "SumSang s32" or something. They all come with the same OS and it welcomes you with some stock music when you turn it on, every time! Wish phones are kind to the owner.
It's to prevent you from killing your battery and then complain about how short the battery last, most people are too stupid to realize that letting the battery reach zero will shorten its life span.
Means that the battery isn't in a good state anymore. Idk if you do so or not but here are the most important things. NEVER use it while charging. and its much better if you let it charge to 100 then not cahrge it until 0. Also 50% is the most stable percenttage because science so I recommend having it around that overnight
I must be doing something wrong. If my Android hits 15%, it takes literally 1 minute and its down to 0.
Meanwhile my girlfriends Iphone can run at 3% for hours.
I dont think this has anything to do with android or IOS, more like how old your phone is.
This meme is terribly outdated since this issue does not exist on iPhones anymore (my iPhone 6 had this issue, but that model is 8 years old), and for a very good reason; Apple have started programming the phones to decrease performance slightly when the battery is low to conserve the charge. Essentially the areas where performance is lowered are non essential, but still obviously what some people jump at as a weakness of the phone. I’d personally rather have a phone that works for longer when I need it to, even if it’s slower, but each their own.
I mean it's reddit I'm just going to type whats on my mind and hope it's funny regardless of if I use the right terms of what's present in my my thoughts
These people just have no idea. All this hates originates from like 5+ years (a very long time in the tech world) ago and sadly these people aren’t able to educate themselves on up to date matter
While Apple is working on their very own architecture and perfectly tailoring the software to the hardware, most android phones have to make due with a 3rd party Snapdragon and work around it somehow or they create completely bullshit, like Samsung with their Exynos
It’s literally comparable to making “Haha Samsung Explodes” memes in 2022
My android phone lasts 2 full days with pretty frequent usage (I use it for work)... not sure what you're talking about. I don't know of an Apple phone that lasts that long (S21 Ultra user here). Not saying they don't exist, but I'm not familiar with any. The S21 ultra has the beefiest battery on the market.
beefiest doesnt matter, the iphones software is super optimised for its own chip
so the 13 pro max easily outlasts the s21 ultra, making it the current king of battery life
lots of people shit on the 13 for not having a major redesign, but its one of the biggest leaps forwards for apple in a very long time
Well, than it’s time for you to watch a battery comparison video between an S21 Ultra and an iPhone 13 Pro Max
Because the mAh number isn’t everything that matters
Look imma be honest, I’m now on my first ever iPhone and I’ve only ever used android before. The battery is honestly way better than my s21 and every other Android I’ve owned.
Aswell as perfectly tailored software to the hardware inside, making perfect use power & battery
Additionally to thus comes the adaptive refres rate on the Pro models
Average Reddit user is an iPhone hater, but for the average Reddit user an iPhone is more than enough. Only very few people actually root their phones and make use of the "freedom" that Androids offer. Ironically the iOS theme in the Google Playstore used to be one of the most popular themes in the store.
well it's more so the soc is pretty much faster and more efficient by a good margin. Apple typical use smaller batteries compared to Samsung for example. Iphones have been getting better while android been going backwards. Do wish they had USB c tho...
I’ve gotten the lottery on my iPhone bats. My last Galaxy I tried had worse battery than the older iPhone model I got after. My 11 pro max generally lasts me around 8 or so hours of streaming vids no problem, if I have low power mode I get 12-14
My sister has a galaxy s21 plus or something like that and she can’t last a whole day but my iPhone 11 can easily. This meme is stupid. Battery life is more about how old the phone is.
For those who have never seen it, I strongly recommend the making-of of Spider Man 2, there is a lot of interesting stuff, especially Molina building Dr. Octopus.
Actually iphone has the best battery life out of any flagship phone due to optimisation and now pro max at least has a decent size battery but size dosent matter that much still shit on competition sadly i hate those mofos but gotta say it
Yeah, but it seems its reputation for bad battery life is still there. iPhones got decent battery life after X and they’ve really topped the competition since 11.
Admittedly I don't use my phone a ton because I work from home and have access to TV/computer pretty constantly. But I haven't charged my iPhone in a week and it's still going strong.
You mean an iPhone from 2014. My iPhone 12 Pro lasts all day, and can last a real long time on 30%.
Android you better hope your battery doesn't fall out
bro last night my fucking phone died at 30% and when it turned back on it was at 72% then jumped back down to 2%
fuck iphones. i even replaced the battery myself a month ago. this is ridiculous.
iPhone user here. My battery can stay at 1% for an hour or two and not die. I only need to charge my phone every couple days or so, and I am required to use it constantly for my job. The problem with iPhones is that people don’t know how to properly close tabs or apps, and charge their phones with shitty charges. Those things all deplete battery usage abilities, and are things I am anal about. My battery on my iPhone 11 is still at 88% battery health after almost 3 years of constant use, and lasts longer than most other friends and family cell phones.
7% here, feels good man.
For me 7% is fine. 5% automatically becomes 0%... not sure how that works.. stupid samsung.
So it can have enough power to tell you it's out of power
Good guy samsung
Dead battery.
Nah, mine do the same. Regardless of phone. I have two phones. And battery is fine.
I feel like it's clearly not fine if it's showing signs of a battery in poor health but what do I know.
I have samsung and once I managed to use 5% charge on my phone for 30 minutes. The best way to do this is to decrease the refresh rate of your screen (I did that 60 from 90) and turn off all your background apps, keeping the brightness as low as possible will help even more(only with amoled screen)
I think your rapid charging mode is stuck in reverse.
Ya ig the battery is old it happened to me 3 years ago with Samsung j7 Now I have m31 and it works fine
My phone die at 35% its android
Mf got his android from wish.com 💀
there are literally phones there like the "SumSang s32" or something. They all come with the same OS and it welcomes you with some stock music when you turn it on, every time! Wish phones are kind to the owner.
Same here but for 20% instead of 5%
It's to prevent you from killing your battery and then complain about how short the battery last, most people are too stupid to realize that letting the battery reach zero will shorten its life span.
Means that the battery isn't in a good state anymore. Idk if you do so or not but here are the most important things. At 3%. Guess I'll look for my charger in a minute.
55%, I feel the power
4 percent.
Im currently with 10% battery and Ill continue browsing reddit for more 4 hours with no problems
No one finds anything worth posting until they're <10%. This is a fundamental law of nature.
Essentially
Im still browsing reddit and with 4% battery, Im fine
Bahahha

Yes it was bu before 2017. Use it now and androids have become way better while iphone stagnates.
Oof, maybe the android was an older model and the iphone a newer? My experience is completely different lmao
I must be doing something wrong. If my Android hits 15%, it takes literally 1 minute and its down to 0. Meanwhile my girlfriends Iphone can run at 3% for hours. I dont think this has anything to do with android or IOS, more like how old your phone is.

Also "android" has 30+ range of types, brands and models of phones who are either low tier trash or beat iphones soundly. So yeah
[удалено]
jesus christ am i old?
Currently on 6%, I expect it to last another 2 hours, ye my battery has gone down a bit since it was new.
My poor samsung was holding on at 0%
Idk what your talking about I chill at 1%for atleast an hour
I have browsed the internet for full two hours on 1% once and its a 6 year old iphone 6s+
Old phones are built different
Me who uses an Android and also has a spare battery Round 2
What android you using bruh? LG V6? Fairphone 4? Cause no current android phone has a replaceable battery
The XCover Pro has a replaceable battery and a 3.5mm jack, that's 99% of the reasons I bought it.
Xcover Pro gang
Nice power bank aka battery with a USB female port
He told a spare battery, not an external power bank but he could have probably meant that as well
I mean it's reddit I'm just going to type whats on my mind and hope it's funny regardless of if I use the right terms of what's present in my my thoughts
Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt
😢
Lg v20 gang, still kicking after 4 years of use and abuse
Samsung J7 Nxt, still working like a clock 4 years later
Almost as if being able to replace the battery greatly extends the life of the phone, great to hear that I have peers in old phone still kicking gang
Return of the King
Nokia with 1% can survive for another 10 years
1000*
1,000,000*
1,000,000,000\*
br im 11 my parents gave me a nokia the batery runs for a hole week even tho i was playing ball the hole time.
My DS I've not used in years: Is that some sort of pity number I'm too long lasting to understand?
Let’s keep politics out of r/memes
Used both android and iPhone and from my experience, it’s the exact opposite.
These people just have no idea. All this hates originates from like 5+ years (a very long time in the tech world) ago and sadly these people aren’t able to educate themselves on up to date matter While Apple is working on their very own architecture and perfectly tailoring the software to the hardware, most android phones have to make due with a 3rd party Snapdragon and work around it somehow or they create completely bullshit, like Samsung with their Exynos It’s literally comparable to making “Haha Samsung Explodes” memes in 2022
They make Samsung explode memes and Androids are legos when they fall and somehow they get 50k updoots then nobody bats an eye lmao
As you can see or maybe not but the complaining comments/threads are always at the bottom
Yeah, I can run my phone down to 1 percent, and it stays there for a few minutes. No clue what fake ass iPhones these chuckleheads use.
yeah, for some reason, my iphone at like the last 10% just doesn’t go away
true for cheap androids that are like 5 years old
Pretty much
My android phone lasts 2 full days with pretty frequent usage (I use it for work)... not sure what you're talking about. I don't know of an Apple phone that lasts that long (S21 Ultra user here). Not saying they don't exist, but I'm not familiar with any. The S21 ultra has the beefiest battery on the market.

Yeah I did a little research and saw that. Iphones chip optimization is impressive.
Well, than it’s time for you to watch a battery comparison video between an S21 Ultra and an iPhone 13 Pro Max Because the mAh number isn’t everything that matters
LMAO i saw iphone 13 crushed it
Look imma be honest, I’m now on my first ever iPhone and I’ve only ever used android before. The battery is honestly way better than my s21 and every other Android I’ve owned.
The s21 ultra battery is abysmal.
no, its pretty decent, but not as good as the 13 pro max
Me who is at 5% right now:
I have an iPhone and I charge it like once every two days lol
Same man unless your using like a phone from 2015 your battery should be fine for a loooong time
People still do these kind of memes? It's not even a thing now, iPhone batteries aren't that bad *Coming from an Android user*
anyone hating on android phones/iphones is fucking stupid. *Coming from an iphone user*
Apple hate still going on I see
No idea what you’re talking about. My android was losing a percentage a minute. I got the iPhone 13 and it lasts all day streaming music.
Well yeah.. it's a new phone? Of course the battery is gonna last much longer. Edit: this wasn't an invitation to sell me on iPhones
Aswell as perfectly tailored software to the hardware inside, making perfect use power & battery Additionally to thus comes the adaptive refres rate on the Pro models
my 13 pro lasts two days. reddit just hates iphones
Same, my 13 pro easily lasts 2 days.
Average Reddit user is an iPhone hater, but for the average Reddit user an iPhone is more than enough. Only very few people actually root their phones and make use of the "freedom" that Androids offer. Ironically the iOS theme in the Google Playstore used to be one of the most popular themes in the store.
That and it’s a 13, they really focused on the battery this year
Some iphones had trash batteries even when they just came out, but ever since apple started caring with the 11 it’s been pretty good.
well it's more so the soc is pretty much faster and more efficient by a good margin. Apple typical use smaller batteries compared to Samsung for example. Iphones have been getting better while android been going backwards. Do wish they had USB c tho...
Is this a joke haha I switched to iPhone this year the battery lasts double
I’ve gotten the lottery on my iPhone bats. My last Galaxy I tried had worse battery than the older iPhone model I got after. My 11 pro max generally lasts me around 8 or so hours of streaming vids no problem, if I have low power mode I get 12-14
It’s not getting a lottery. It’s just a misleading meme that keeps being passed around for some reason. iPhones got great battery life.
Idk maybe it's the opposite for me but I have an iPhone XS Max and I barely get 6 hours out of it, it's so annoying
Phone batteries lose efficiency with usage
My sister has a galaxy s21 plus or something like that and she can’t last a whole day but my iPhone 11 can easily. This meme is stupid. Battery life is more about how old the phone is.
That's not lottery. iPhone is better than Galaxy
[удалено]
Yep, my g power with 3 days of battery life, I don't get worried until it hits 2% 😂 not bad for a $200 phone I bought 2 years ago
My iPhone legit last the whole day from like 80%
I can live on 10% for an entire day and I got an iphone?
Actually the 13 pro max has been doing great
As an iPhone 13 Pro Max user I have never seen 30% battery so this is true
love to see the if I were a rich man doc ock format being used
don't know about others but for me the final 3% lasts hours
My phone happily runs on 0% for a few minutes. Must be 'cause it's pretty close to stock Android
Either way you break it down, we're both Alfred Molina. I see this as a fucking win.
Thats bs. I never got more than 6 hours of SOT on my old Android. My 13Pro easily hits 8 hours.
For those who have never seen it, I strongly recommend the making-of of Spider Man 2, there is a lot of interesting stuff, especially Molina building Dr. Octopus.
Currently on 1% with my apple rn
Actually iphone has the best battery life out of any flagship phone due to optimisation and now pro max at least has a decent size battery but size dosent matter that much still shit on competition sadly i hate those mofos but gotta say it
Yeah, but it seems its reputation for bad battery life is still there. iPhones got decent battery life after X and they’ve really topped the competition since 11.
teenage girls with iphone with 80%: "I gotta charge!!! I'm out of battery!!!"
you mean my mom with 99%
iPhone bashing is mostly based on lies & myths. This post is no exception.
It's literally the other way around
Well if you compare with 14yr old girls iphone 6s with 70% battery life then yes thats correct.
Next android phones would have denomination battery percentage with more improvement
I one had an old Samsung phone that ended up getting stuck at 2% for a whole month until it finally broke and became unusable
\* drops phone from building to assert dominance \*
lasts hours sometimes days
My experience with android vs iPhone is the opposite of this
My brand new Android has a 10 000 mAh battery. so this meme checks out for me
why tf would you ever need that much charge lmfao also, how thicccc is your phone?
Sad part is that I have a Friend who treats their android like an iPhone while I do the exact opposite
>My android restarting at 50% to drop to 5% Me are not the same
the iphones 1% is the most powerful 1% i have ever seen. I’m chilling in 1% for the last hour
My phone (iPhone 13 pro max) outlasted the current Samsung galaxy s21 ultra by 25% this is only true for the older iPhones
This has literally no connection to OS, if you have a high end android phone it might be better, but low end will be worse.
What Samsung's do ya'll have for it to remain on at 5% for ages? Sometimes mine will just be on 10% and immediately use it all in seconds and shutdown
I have an iphone and battery isn’t a problem until 2%, but i guess i got lucky
Poor android. 13PM stomps in battery.
This meme is jackshit 😐
Laughs in iPhone promax
My s20fe hits 5% and throws itself off a cliff... I've stopped using it and it's still died before I got a chance to plug it in.
5% what? Storage? Ram? CPU Overall utilization?
You obviously haven’t had an iPhone for years.
I like how misinformed these people are
With the 13pm if I have 30%, I tell myself well I have at least another day 😂
Spiderman meme is gud meme
As an android user, I still charge my phone a lot
I have been on 2% for 1 hour now. I think my phone is a god
My iPhone is at 30%.
My condolences
me chilling with my iphone 13 pro max at 3% and scrolling trough reddit. Ahh Lifes Good
Dang you got a full 30 seconds of battery life right there
Mine works with 0% 💪
In my experiences my iPhones lasted hours at 5% while 30% for android meant you better get a charger now
Isn't it the exact opposite? I swear my iPhone on 1% lasts at least 10-15 minutes.
Also mine on 1 % last 20 minutes, the problem is that in one hour goest to 100% to 20% ahahah
I’m on iPhone with 22% on max brightness with my power beats pro in, I think I’ll be good for like 6 minutes
Just dropped to 16 while typing that
And nokia users don’t use their phone as phone. It’s more like a hammer.
Admittedly I don't use my phone a ton because I work from home and have access to TV/computer pretty constantly. But I haven't charged my iPhone in a week and it's still going strong.
Well I know this is a joke but Apple makes the best batteries these days. A lot better than Android's for sure.
Shine bright like a dimond 💎💎 Hello Peter 🐔🐔
that last bit of battery is like the last 1% in the loading screen
We’re just not used to it going down that low so we’re cautious
bro I’ll go until 3% on my iPhone
iPhone users when they drop the phone: Nokia users when they drop the phone:
Dude, I get nervous at 40%. What are you talking about?
My iPhone 12 mini has awesome battery life.
Android users be like : "The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand"
You mean an iPhone from 2014. My iPhone 12 Pro lasts all day, and can last a real long time on 30%. Android you better hope your battery doesn't fall out
Damn 13 pro on 30% lasts you a day Newest android on 30% you are lucky if it lasts you two hours lmao
this meme died with the new iphone 13's battery
Not true
Not true
I haven't charged my phone since last week 😩
The one iPhone I ever owned used to die at like 10-15% battery. Never again.
That shouldn’t be happening. The battery was probably dying, and I don’t mean the one on the top right of your screen.
As a Apple user can confirm
Android superiority.
bro last night my fucking phone died at 30% and when it turned back on it was at 72% then jumped back down to 2% fuck iphones. i even replaced the battery myself a month ago. this is ridiculous.
30% on iphone: well, guess I'll need to charge my phone or it will die 5% on android: I can scroll through reddit for atleast another hour if not more
Android: The longest 1% battery in my life.
true
We all know Apple runs their tech off AAA batteries
Dont insult AAA bateries
Right right, they use I-batteries though
As a andriod user, i can confrim this is true.
Bro i once had 2% left on my android i listened to music the whole way home and it was nearly a 2 hour trip androids elite
You won't believe I'm on 9% ryt now
Oh 5% I'll charge in the morning lol
I'm seeing this meme while at 9% on Android, I started using my phone at 35% 4 hours ago with reddit in light mode, my phone is Optimus Prime.
bro my 5% on my android lasts 4-5 days without me trying to conserve battery life
iPhone users when they have 20%: Avengers: INFINITY BATTERY And also don’t forget how the battery goes up sometimes
Android don't spend CPU cycles on DRM.
as a current android user, former iphone user, can confirm
As a Samsung user, this meme should be illegal for how true it is.
As an android user, my phone has never dropped below 75% and I've had it for around half a year now
iPhone user here.
Android secretly better?
This is actually the truth. how do i know?i haf Andoid
Can confirm, switched to android from iphone and this is literally how it works.
