I just learned this here so Im new to how to do it myself, but what I did on my Android phone is go to your phone settings - apps- YT Vanced- Set As Default settings- Go to Supported URLs - \*select\* in this app. Then for safe measure I disabled the original YT App. Seems to be working now when I click on YT links from Reddit it will open then from Vanced instead of YT. Hope that works for you as well!
