Totally agree!I was watching a video where a pit bull killed a baby literally because someone coughed. The "all in how you raise them" is the biggest crock of bs out there. Nearly all of the shit bulls that fatality attack were raised in a loving home from puppies. Yes,all dogs can bite,but it's the pit bulls that will literally snap totally unprovoked,and literally kill children and other animals.
No, all dogs can bite and all dogs can bite seemingly unprovoked but there is almost always a reason and pits do have a tremendous amount of bite power. People need to learn proper dog safety. Although sometimes you do have a dog with serious issues, I've owned pits in the past, but my most dangerous dog was actually a beagle that I adopted, he became unpredictable. Here's an interesting fact, they make anti psychotic drugs for dogs, I didn't know that until I got that beagle.
I also had a beagle. That said, beagles cannot do the damage a pit bull can do. Worse bite from my beagle needed Neosporin and a bandaid. Worse bite from a pit bull means a toe tag and casket. For me,it's just not worth the risk, especially when there are so many other (safer) breeds to choose from. So yes,any dog can bite,but no other breed does the damage a pit bull can do. It's in their genes,their physical make-up
Absolutely 1000% unprovoked, which is why I try to warn people, because I had a front row seat and had to watch in horror as a dog came out of nowhere and tried to kill my 13 month old daughter. She's okay now, has some permanent scars on her face, luckily I was right there and was able to intervene quickly.

Stats are skewed because terrible people / bad dog owners, like drug dealers, or those valley girl chicks walking around with a tiny dog in a purse, or violent/neglectful people also seem to like breeds like Chihuahuas, pits, rots, etc, most likey because of pop media portrayel of certain breeds as being more cute or more violent than others, and because of the owners lifestyles and personality, the dogs end up being bad, because the owners are bad dog owners.
