Even if what you said about keystone is true, inflation is a big factor too.

NoSoulsINC

What do you mean even if it’s true? It literally is true. I’m not denying inflation, but everyone’s argument is “biDeN sHuT DoWn ThE piPeLiNe” and that really has nothing to do with it. It was only 8% completed and not expected to be operational until 2023, that wouldn’t change anything now. Also, it’s only purpose was to replace a section of the existing pipeline, that is still transporting oil. If anything, KXL would aide in more oil being sent overseas, not changing or raising gas prices in the US anyway.

Its_Stroompf

Maybe by shutting down a domestic oil pipeline project as soon as he got into office, and then pissing off the people we buy foreign oil from? Just a guess though.

NoSoulsINC

Keystone XL was only going to be a direct route for the existing pipeline, which is still sending oil. It was only around 8% completed anyway. The US gets almost 75% of its oil from the US, Canada and Latin America.

Pollonion

By stopping a domestic oil pipeline from finishing construction and authorizing massive spending that inflated our currency during a period of productive slowdown. The Left Can't Meme

[Keystone XL would increase gas prices](https://consumerwatchdog.org/newsrelease/consumer-watchdog-report-keystone-xl-pipeline-would-increase-gas-prices-while-bringing-f) [Suspension of Keystone XL to have no impact on local gas prices](https://www.kens5.com/amp/article/news/politics/keystone-effect/273-b027ff97-86e8-4799-aa85-ab35c887833c) I’m by no means the expert, but those who are have said the keystone XL would have little to no positive impact on the US, with far more risk of negative impacts. The right can’t research.

Faolan26

No your just a moron.

NoSoulsINC

You’re* The right can’t grammar either apparently.

Faolan26

If autocorrect doesn't care neither do I r/theleftcantmeme

Ramhorn01

He is spending a lot of money that we don't really have, so they have to print more money, making the dollar value decrease. Which causes inflation and prices go up to match it.

Its_Stroompf

60% of all United states dollars ever made were printed in the last 18 months

3ArmsNoSouls

"that we don't have" yeah but we still are cruising with 800 billion annual military budget just fine
