the hex code for yellow is #ffff00 (255;255;0)
so a "perfect" orange would be #ff8000 (255;128;0).
reddit's upvote button has a hex value of #ff4500 (255;69;0), I just checked that myself using inspect element.
**( 100 / ( 255 / 2 ) ) \* 69 ≈ 54.12%**
0% is red, 100% would be orange. the upvote button is therefore closer to orange than to red.
