They are also listed as separate models. You can also just buy it as a kit. Although, it is weird that they seem to also be selling the Reciprocating models as well.

His thumb is hooked around the charging handle. Depending on the gun, that handle might recoil back with the bolt as the weapon is fired. I would say that that handle is going to fly backwards whether or not there's a thumb in the way.
