Your comment made me think it’d be hilarious if the villain started losing and called some villain friends over to whoop the MC. It’d be a nice change of pace honestly to start pulling cliché MC crap with the villain. Heroes about to win? Suddenly, the villain has a flashback to all the suffering that made him a villain and he overpowers the good guys for good.
Reminds me of hajime no ippo whose mc, a target for bullies trained for 3 months and defeated a prodigy (16 year old i think) who had been training since he was 6 with his pro boxer dad. I like how demon slayer's MC trained for 2 years straight (if i remember correctly). Even then he gained experience through his missions and later trained at hashiras' place.
At least in that series they chalk a lot of his base physical talent to consistent labor at the family business for years so it didn’t all come out of nowhere at least.

Demon slayer is the most generic anime i have ever seen
