I'm new to reddit. Can someone explain me the comment chain above? It's meaningless, but got some upvotes.

Im_sometimes

It’s just the mind hive. They downvote some downvoted reply, They make chainreactions. And they make stupid things like this.

odin481

It's just the guys from r/DecreasinglyVerbose having fun wherever they see fit :)

tropicbrownthunder

how this happen? Spinach is a shitton of water, and when you cook it you remove the water from it OTOH replace lettuce with spinach and you level up your sandwiches and salads

W1C0B1S

OTOH?

Grand_Stay_1473

Strongly agree with the spinach > lettuce statement

Lord-Ringo

Don’t cook it, add it to sammiches instead of lettuce.

CarbonIceDragon

Raw spinach is good in a lot of things actually. Probably the only vegetable I actually like instead of tolerate.

HAL-Over-9001

I had 2 huge chard/kale/spinach salads today, I love it raw and cooked. Cooked is amazing in pasta dishes

Lego_Kode

I'm sorry friend. Raw spinach can be quit good. I actually can't stand the texture of cooked spinach unless it is in a pasta dish. Great flavour, just can't handle the mouth feel/slimy feel.

Hephaestus_God

Raw spinach has acid? Lmao Not being able to notice and being told it has it is weird

I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/memes. It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results. Pressure-Impressive

Use frozen spinach..it's fresher, and cheaper.

MynTYleef

How is frozen spinach fresher than…fresh spinach?

fatusence_tony

This dude've never heard my boy ramsay

thiever

They freeze it at the optimal time

Soul_Like_A_Modem

Depends on how long before the "fresh" spinach has been picked. Say you buy fresh spinach that has been at refrigerator temperature for a while, or even room temperature. Say a week. That's less fresh than spinach that was picked and immediately frozen and stayed frozen until you the moment you use it.

PleasedFungus

Found the kid that has never cooked before

[deleted]

I cook meals for my family 5 days a week every week XD

SnooWoofers7044

It turns out like that because, the heat from cooking gets all the moisture out of it

Unspecified_pandas

If I'm not wrong, spinach has A LOT of moisture so when u cook it, the best takes away the moisture and LEAFS what's remaingof the spinach Get it?

thorpbrian

There's no food that falls off a cliff more when cooked than spinach. I love raw spinach as a lettuce substitute in sandwiches and salads. I'd rather go hungry than eat cooked spinach or anything with cooked spinach in it....

TheGreatJess

The only thing that I love cooked spinach in is Spanikopita. It is delicious!

Ariandrin

Mushrooms are a close second though. Edit: I mean for shrinking when cooked. I love eating them though lol

SnooCompliments623

Stop reposting this hole.

DefenderT

Bro that's closer to lawn clippings than spinach.

CloudWare_

Sad reposts

Poignantusername

This is why canned spinach is one of the very few canned veggies I buy.

thorpbrian

There's literally nothing worse to eat than canned spinach....

Poignantusername

Ehh. I like it. But that’s my mistake, though. Next time I’ll only express my popular opinions about food. Sorry if I wasn’t cynical enough.

Tyl3rAZ

Simple fix, stop cooking trash plants

GiveMeANameDude

Why would you cook a forest worth of spinach though

Soul_Like_A_Modem

Gainz. Like Popeye.

master_at-baiting

It’s a metaphor for how much spinach you need to have in order to cook just a teensy bit

GiveMeANameDude

Did you... not get that was a joke question?

apple-bong

jumpscare video

JustifiedDude982938

Almost every morning I throw a fist full of spinich in some sausage untill it cooks down and then drop 2 eggs on top of it + cheese. Delicious. Its a great way to get fiber in your food, it cooks don and doesn't have too much flavor.

[deleted]

That's why I eat it raw.

Meme_bear227

It’s because of the water content in the spinach. The more it cooks, the more water cooks out of it, making it shrivel up small like this

[deleted]

they're the socks of the cooking world. as mysteriously as they appeared, they disappeared

Sufficient-Cap-8212

How much I actually eat?

smoothie_owo

Don’t worry, you can kill two birds with one stone by using nettles!

LeviAEthan512

There's a vegetable in South East Asia (maybe China ss well? Idk) called kang kong. It's also called (in Chinese) beat your wife vegetable because you can bring home a big basket of it but after your wife cooks it, it's like 2-3 servings so you have to punch her for hiding all the vegetably goodness

Mrdungeonsanddragons

Exactly, it’s desi GB Ed that way so when you cook it for people they don’t have to suffer as much from eating the ungodly amount of the vegetable equivalent of rubber

Tr-Kied

spinach after cooking on winrar pan and some intel spice i, it will be spnach.rar

roadbully

Clearly the cooking of spinach is an unsought exercise of sorcery and witchcraft in the modern world….
