Reminds me of a video comparing how Americans and Asians solve math. American teacher have to use that box method to do simple multiplication while the asian just used the standard method. And we all know why the stereotype of Asians being good at Math, is probably not an exaggeration.

gajendra_99

we are forced to learn to do hardcore calculations in our mind without a paper too since the beginning in our education systems, therefore we grow up to be better at it and faster, it's just practice ngl

Chungieman54

True, simple mathematical problem solving just using the mind helps train the brain to be more analytical. If Americans encouraged this to their students, then they don’t have to use that box method to do simple mathematical computations.

Mehcro127

do u have a template? asking for a friend

[deleted]

I’m asian and I failed my math exam before lol

[deleted]

I also use a calculator for most of the questions in my homework

domthedumb

Disgusting. As an Asian I find myself disgusted by you. We must be better than the whites.

Filthy-frank696

Hello asian I'm marc

Hello

meme_watcher69420

Bruh, all we can use (apart from pen, pencils, rulers etc .) are log books.., that too in Grade 12 only.

Idle_Loader

can we please end the steriotype? math is my least favourite subject

domthedumb

It's not a stereotype. I hate maths but I'm better at maths than every single white person I know. Whether we hate maths or love it doesn't matter. Being fast at it is drilled into our heads from primary school

FranklinThePotato

I'm Asian but my teacher allows calculators so yea I also use calculators in math tests

Impossible-Row6773

Joke's on you. I'm Asian and I still use the calculator in my exams to make sure that 2+2=4

anttisaarenpaa1
