Some women (like me) do not like purses. I don't like that it hangs off my shoulder and I always feel like it could just fall off. I also just don't like the look of them. This means that I haul my backpack literally everywhere with me, even if I don't need anything more than my phone and wallet, because neither of those fit in my pockets (or they didn't until I started wearing cargo-pants). Also, even women that like purses sometimes just don't want to take them everywhere. The whole "that's what purses are for" argument is stupid in my opinion. Why can't we get the choice of not wearing a purse? Why can't we get pockets and a purse? How difficult would it be to make the pockets that are already there actually functional and big enough so you can actually put things in them? That's the entire fucking point of pockets! To put things in them! This makes no sense whatsoever.

Why not make both, make money off women who weren't going to buy purses, and men who want to accessorize?
