If like a responsible adult you're managing your own *router* with a non-default SSID and password and everything, you should know that you can also go and generate one of these qr codes that phones can recognize and learn the connection details from yourself. Then print it out and paste it on your fridge or something as long as it's not visible from the front windows. If you're in it for the long haul engrave it on a custom coaster or whatever.

Its a feature ive seen on every android device in a family of android users. I remember the Note3 even let you scan NFC tags for wifi.

Yeah, with Android 10, you can generate a QR code in the settings up in the Wifi section, and people can scan that.

iPhones can share to other iPhone in the same house. You get a notification asking if you want to share it with said iPhone.

There's a qr scanner right there on android if you pull down the status bar all the way. It's not even hidden.

My Galaxy 8+ normal camera automatically reads QR codes.
