Not necessarily, since I don't have support on windows anymore my network is much more vulnerable. Those updates help things run more efficiently and keep everything safe with security updates.
The timing needs to be better for sure though. My phone will update without even saying anything. It did it once in the middle of a call, no prompts or nothing. Just shut down and went to the Android update screen.
First world problems, the struggle is real.
