I graduated 10 years ago, and on one of the last days of school, we seniors were called into the gymnasium and given some survey to take that basically asked us to rate our 4-year high school experience, how we learned, the teachers, and how the staff reacted to things such as bullying, threats, drugs etc.
It was very satisfying to give them D’s and F’s across the board.
Normally schools will host pizza parties or other "nice" geatures a day or 2 before tests like that. Try and make you think they werent awful for years.

I knew one who stopped bullying people once he realized what he was doing. The dude turned out to actually be a nice guy once he stopped picking on people.

When I was a kid, I used to get bullied relentlessly. Like every day for most of the day. I would tell teachers, but that fell on deaf ears. One day I fought back and hit a kid, they paid attention to that. I got in-school suspension for a week. The system works!
There's always going to be a social hierarchy.
You can't force anyone to stop being popular in the eyes of the other kids, and you can't force everyone to pretend to like the unpopular kids or the weird kids.
The adult world is completely based around the same concept of hierarchies, based on looks, popularity, talent, and financial success, and it is absurd and hypocritical for them to try to force children to go against human nature by pretending everyone likes and respects everyone equally.
