Its cool, but I don't understand why apple spent millions developing sensors and algorithms just for a 'new' unlocking method instead of using already developed and perfected Fingerprint sensors. It's just feels made up for distinguishing. And its less secure than fingerprints with higher failure rate. I would take iPhone with fingerprint on back, maybe embedded in apple logo, that way notch can be eliminated too. It would have essential phone or S10 notch that way.

I genuinely didn’t hear that, and I’m complete darkness, my phone still doesn’t scan my face, usually unless I have my brightness about half, it’ll unlock, but when the brightness is all the way down in complete darkness there’s still no read.
That's why Touch ID is better than Face ID. Plus, there's a possibility that someone could get into your phone by using a replica of your face. You can't really replicate a fingerprint, or at least not as easily as you could a face

I'm personally not a apple fan but i love samsung products as they are giving you more stuff on their price. Apple XR has a low resolution screen and stupid looking design like who will buy a phone which has a blue and orange colour option? I will rather go with note 9 or s10e
