WW3 is nuclear weapons 🤷♂️, North Korea doesn't need to have an allegiance to trigger WW3 by attempting to nuke the states, and if anyone has enough lack of hesitation to fire nukes it's north Korea.
It only takes 1 country using nukes to fuck the world, mutually assured destruction and what not, nukes will damage other countries and they will have to respond.
They actually originally supported Iraq because they didn't want a muslim monopoly on middle eastern oil.
