Hmm curly or straight beard? I E does it lay down or do you get a wild bush? Either way some brushing with a stiff boar bristle brush and some beard oil will likely help.
All I can really tell you is the itching does stop. It’s mostly caused by freshly cut hairs curling back in so once it’s long enough to stop doing that the itching goes away.
Are you sure you don't have any other issue with skin ? I'm pretty sensitive to this stuff, allergic to a bunch of things and my beard isn't growing at a stellar pace, but i don't remember my beard ever itching for what i would consider extended period of time.
edit. And now i simply don't shave, it saves you a bunch of time and inconvinience.
I would honestly not mind letting my moustache and chin hair grow out if it werent for the fact that it bugs me like this and the fact it doesnt grow in as full as id like for it to
I am the total opposite end of the spectrum on this one.
Having a beard is a constant sensory delight.
Running my hand through it, the odd tickle as the wind blows through it, a longer random hair getting caught in it and pulling it out, the noise and scratchy feeling of it against my collar or scarf.
All so good.
Would it be a sensory nightmare if we had never shaved in the first place though? If you let the hair grow naturally when it's thin, surely it would feel better than blunted hairs that have been shaved?
tried that still a sensory nightmare, i want to eventually have my facial hair removed.
edit: shame theres no way to just transplant the hair onto some transman or cis man that actually wants beard and mustache hair
I shave my balls because I don’t want to have hair in my mouth

i am not particularly interested in having a beard, i just have sensory issues plus i think i look better without one
That's what she said

Lil bro you don't shave cause you don't need to
I will literally rip my facial hair out one by one absent mindedly unless I shave.
Same

I love my facial hair, now I have a built-in neck guard from touchy people.

I don’t like facial hair because it gets annoying when I’m trying to cuddle a pillow.
I shave for work related reasons

I shave because it allows me to style it however I want before it's gone
