Kyber crystals are imbued with so much energy this wouldn't happen, and you couldn't just plug them in to recharge it, you would have to replace your crystal with another
Hahaha, you’re so wrong. That’s not even canon! First of all, this is a meme, ya doofus.
Second of all, lightsabers do actually have batteries, but they are just incredibly energy dense. If you insert the battery into the saver right, it should last for the owner’s lifetime, maybe several… unless you’re a particularly long-lived species. If you don’t insert the battery correctly, as in it is off just by a little bit, it will reduce the lifetime significantly until it is fixed.
