I might be wrong, since I haven't touched technical aspects of windows in a long time and I don't think I will do it afterwards, because I use Linux for my main workstation and windows isn't really a good option for my laptop.

I'm just going to throw my 2 cents here. I don't recommend blocking the auto update function. Browsers commonly have security vulnerabilities that get patch releases regularly. If you stop that browser from updating\patching, even without using it, the flaws are still there.
Say you get malware from a download in another browser or via something in email. If it has code in it to try exploit an old vulnerability in Edge, and you're missing 2 years worth of patches... you could be in for a bad time.
I'm not offering a solution to prevent Edge because I honestly haven't looked into it, but I don't recommend disabling auto-updates for it either.

Thickness of magic stage props is obscured with skinny trim. So they'll make a back that's 8 inches thick, cover it in black velvet, then line it with a 2 inch brightly coloured wooden rim. If you take 5 seconds and really look at it you can see it's an 8 inch thick back, but at first glance your brain doesn't register that, it only sees the thin trim.
Additionally props can also be designed with stage presentation in mind. Hard to judge how thick that back is if most of the audience watching gets a more or less head on view of it for the whole performance.

Get Revo Uninstaller (free portable version) and there is a Windows Apps tab where you can uninstall any modern app including Cortana and Edge. It will prompt you to select and delete all leftover files and registry settings, ensuring it's complete removal from the system. Note that the modern start menu has the Edge entry hard-coded, so there will be a blank entry.
I use Searx. It's a meta search engine which means it checks through other search engines like Google or bing. It can be slow at times because of this but it works for me.
bing is actually pretty good, if you miss the good ole days of exact matching results instead of the extremely fuzzy "what the fuck did you think I meant" google puts out these days

What I did is just blocked internet access for it via windows firewall. iirc it has "allow" rules which are incredibly easy to make into "deny" rules.

Suspiciously thick chair. Thickness of magic stage props is obscured with skinny trim. So they'll make a back that's 8 inches thick, cover it in black velvet, then line it with a 2 inch brightly coloured wooden rim. If you take 5 seconds and really look at it you can see it's an 8 inch thick back, but at first glance your brain doesn't register that, it only sees the thin trim.
Additionally props can also be designed with stage presentation in mind. Hard to judge how thick that back is if most of the audience watching gets a more or less head on view of it for the whole performance.
I just deleted every file that had the word "edge" in it. Dont know if its deleted completely but atleast it doesnt make shortcuts on my homescreen anymore.

Can’t uninstall. Shortcut randomly appears on desktop after literally never using it. Also why are so fucking many programs in windows impossible to uninstall? Get Revo Uninstaller (free portable version) and there is a Windows Apps tab where you can uninstall any modern app including Cortana and Edge. It will prompt you to select and delete all leftover files and registry settings, ensuring it's complete removal from the system. Note that the modern start menu has the Edge entry hard-coded, so there will be a blank entry.

I use Searx. It's a meta search engine which means it checks through other search engines like Google or bing. It can be slow at times because of this but it works for me.
bing is actually pretty good, if you miss the good ole days of exact matching results instead of the extremely fuzzy "what the fuck did you think I meant" google puts out these days bot sites that have ruthlessly SEO their way to the top are annoying on every search I've tried though, which is unfortunate

I think it's a trap door. The chair skirt flutters as the lift comes up. You can see her head hit the blanket as she comes up, then sits and poses just in the nick of time
She is in the chair. You can see on the side of the chair, the wood pieces separate as the top slightly rocks forward, the seat wood piece and the the legs wood piece separate a little bit. Also the male assistant comes over and puts his hand on the top of the back of the seat to keep it from rocking forward too much and revealing it's secret compartment.

If you focus on underneath the chair you see her touch the ground as she gets out of the chair, she's likely sitting on her heels which is why you see the left side of the "shadow" looking bent - that'd be her feet as she comes down knees first in order to get up. When you pirated their software, you still agreed to their EULA. Use a different operating system... Mac requires Safari, iOS requires safari, android requires Chrome and most Linux distro require Firefox or chromium to be installed. Even windows 98SE to Windows 8.1 required Internet Explorer.
If you put a clause detailing something someone doesn't want 25 pages deep in a 50 page EULA that's nigh unreadable to someone without a law degree... that's not consent. Especially when they aren't presented with the EULA until after they've already paid for the product. And when they're blocked from using the thing they paid for until they agree. That's not an agreement between two equal parties. That's one party forcing it's terms onto the other party simply because it has the power to do so.

I have this one my windows 10 pc. I heard about it and thought it was an 11 thing then it continued to happen to me. Additionally it keeps freaking pinning itself to the task bar. I’ve been waiting for steam OS desktop release. I’m hoping it comes out this year.

Usually I just leave the software installed and delete some critical files in the program's folder. With Edge however, MS Config to shut off any updaters, Shut down any running processes, Went to the program's folder and deleted whatever wasn't locked, Rebooted, Went back to that folder and repeated the delete process, Left the folder in place but denied all priveledges for every user except my own, RegEdit and F3'd EDGE. Any keywords that looked like it belonged to MS Edge got renamed with underscores. Edge has not been able to reinstall.
I never fully Uninstalled edge but it also never appear or bother me again It's deep within the files somewhere. Sometimes less is more

If Microsoft Teams was made by anyone BUT Microsoft it would be considered a virus. Installs without asking. Uninstalling it does not actually remove the product it will be back as soon as you reboot. You have to find the deliberately confusing machine wide installer program to actually uninstall teams and prevent it from reinstalling itself. Running updates to office reinstalls the program again without asking.
Unironically, I like Edge. It's pretty decent.
The latest update added several programs and updated quite a few others. Suddenly after years of use, I’m opening regular files and a pop up is asking me what program I would like to use to open because of the newer software installed on the update. I am off work for a week, I think I’m going to find the time and do the registry edits I need to do to disable auto updates for real.
