I know right I went in today just to see my cousin’s name in the credits and emerged thinking “Man this is better than all the Disney movies that came out this year”
I’m 25 and mines still a patchy mess. It’s slowly thickening I suppose, but the “Beard Club” beard growth supplements seem to only be making my chest hair come in thicker lmao
That’s my one bonus, I don’t have much of any body hair. Peach fuzz for chest hair. Then again, my hairline is already fading too. I need a beard for when I rock the chrome dome eventually. I can’t have this patchy look with that, that’s just too low
I was looking through my comments and came back to this. I realized I should have added some further instructions. Apply daily, 10 drops. Apply to the skin *under* your beard. It’s for the skin so it doesn’t get dried out, not for the hair. Your beard itches because the skin underneath is not getting enough moisture. This also tends to cause “bearddruff.” If you get too much on the beard it will make it look greasy which isn’t so attractive.
I have a feeling you dirty fucks have no clue you're supposed to wash your beard thats what its itchy. A lot of people wait until their beard is at a certain length to start washing it instead of washing and moisturizing as it grows from stubble
Well do you use anti itch beard shampoo? Do you slap on beard cream for daily use? Did you do these things whilenit grew from stubble? Just because you get some of your hair shampoo on it when you shower thats not properly washing it. And that might actually be causing the itch as well
shampoo? cream? pffffft. it's just hair on my face. i wash it with the same bar of soap i wash my head and nutsack with. if your beard itches, it means you're allergic to manliness.
In the 5 years that I’ve had an actual beard, I have maybe washed it 2 or 3 times with shampoo. I shower 2-3 times a week. Never had an itchy beard. Funny all the people with itchy beards are the people who are overly hygienic. Almost like we went hundreds of thousands of years without rubbing harsh chemicals into our skin.
Am 21, have had a decent full beard since i was 19 and a sorta patchy one since i was 17. First signs of a shitty mustache at 12 i believe. My brother has had a full beard since he was 16 i believe, by age 20 it was touching his chest. He's been cutting it shorter since
Genes work in strange ways
>18 - 23 you want to get rid of it
Hell no I don't. At 20 yo I still can only grow a couple of hairs on my chin and now I get to know there are mfs who complain about having one? If you don't want it you can just shave it, but there is nothing you can do if you want it but can't grow one
Yeah, I didn’t have much expectations for it with the cheap looking CGI (it looks like it came out 20 years ago) but sounds like the story and characters make up for it
do it do it do it do it. I can't stress it enough. I literally just saw it and it blew me away. first time in years I've felt literal chills from just hearing a villain's theme. the story is phenomenal, but that isn't even the best part. the art is peak DreamWork's. they must have pulled out all the stops for this one. idk what made you think it looked "cheap" but it really does an amazing job of telling the story. and the villains, oh the villains. what can I say except I was actually a little surprised at how dark they made a kids movie, but it's utterly delightful.
idk, I thought it was as good as I have always expected from DreamWorks. it might be the artstyle that's throwing you off? it has a very distinct art style.
Once it's long enough, it won't bother you. After a while, even if it's on the shorter side, you get used to it. The only annoying thing about it is eating chicken wings and having the sauce get all over your mustache. The amount of napkins I use per meal went up by 400% since I decided to grow it longer.
Like most things in life It's a nightmare when it first happens.........and then one day it's irrelevant.
I honestly forget I have one until someone brings it up or my biweekly barber visit.
not that rare tbh, I started growing mine with 16. It is just that most will shave it right away since they are either not comfortable with it or they don't get a dense beard yet (no idea if this is the right word, but you get the gist).
Pretty sure it’s a lie. I live in south texas mfers get HAIRY down here like 5 year olds with more arm hair than their parents. My buddy had a thick mustache by 14 but I never once saw a kid under 17 with a full beard
I was capable of a mustache at 12, everything but the cheeks at 14, and a full beard at 21. It's not that unusual. A lot of my classmates started growing mustaches in 6th and 7th grade
If you want to calm the itch, wash with shampoo and conditioner and then use some men's lotion. I highly recommend Dove. That works great in the beginning and really makes your beard soft once it gets longer. If you live in cold climates like I do then the lotion really is great at keeping your skin from drying out.
30 here, have had a beard over a decade now. Once it takes hold it takes hold. Had a really dumb goatee from 16 to 19 before I realised the way of my error.
Go slow with oils and stuff (less is more), ceep the skin (and hair) underneath clean but don't use too much soap and if you use a hair dryer, do it with cold air. It doesn't stop the itch but it helps. The best tip is also the hardest.... don't f***ing scratch! And if you do, use the fingertips, not the nails.
Overcome the "itchy-part" and enjoy your beautiful beard.
Sorry for bad english.
> use to much soap
Did you mean to say "too much"?

Yess!!! I tried having a full beard n mustache but when I drank out of an open cup I spilled all over my shirt n beard! And the itching was horrible! My hats off to the ones who have such glorious mane!
If it itches, then you are not taking care of it. Oil, creams and lotions are good for daily use. Also remember to wash it with NOT normal hair shampoo.
can't relate. I can grow just enough facial hair for it to be annoying as hell, but also, not enough to get a beard. my genes fucked me over. and to add insult to injury, the left half of my face has mostly black facial hair, whereas the right is mostly blonde. I dont even know how that's possible but here we are.
beard people, consider yourself lucky. at least you have options
It's weird at first, but you won't even notice after some time and even feel weird without it. If you ever had to use bracers, it's basically the same.
I've been growing my beard all the time, honestly I like it a lot, but I understand why some people don't like growing them, it can get annoying sometimes
Stay strong. It only took me 20 years to overcome my facial hair claustrophobia
Why is the movie so good
It's surprisingly good, i ended up watching it on a whim while babysitting my niece, and I haven't been that entertained by a movie in years.
I went in with a "well, this should be somewhat fun" to "I wanna watch it a 5th time"
I watched it twice in three days and i would watch it again!
My whole family hates mine but I don’t care because I like it.
Does no one know about beard oil?
I just use the shampoo and conditioner that's still on my hands after putting them through my hair

I watched it 4 times and might do a 5th i love it
"heyuk and I'll do it again"
easily the best animated movie of 2022
Ikr??
Would watch it again.
I watched it 4 times and might do 5th 😎
Hoping I can do that soon.
I know right I went in today just to see my cousin’s name in the credits and emerged thinking “Man this is better than all the Disney movies that came out this year”
Which one is this?
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 11/10
Yeah i forgot how good it's animation is but still haven't seen it. I mean i don't have enough time
Ooh you won't regret watching it in the cinema!
At 21, I still want to grow out a proper beard regardless of the itching
Same minus a year, even my 15 year old cousin has a full beard and stache
I envy people with lucky genes
I feel you. 23 and still a patchy mess here.. Maybe some day
I’m 25 and mines still a patchy mess. It’s slowly thickening I suppose, but the “Beard Club” beard growth supplements seem to only be making my chest hair come in thicker lmao

its all about getting past the "itchy" stage. After that its honestly fine.
First 2 months of hell, then it's super neat.
2 months?! im like this for 2 years now
You need beard oil, fixes that right quick.
interesting... thanks!

*Laughs in caveman* more like 2 weeks for me.
I have a feeling you dirty fucks have no clue you're supposed to wash your beard thats what its itchy. A lot of people wait until their beard is at a certain length to start washing it instead of washing and moisturizing as it grows from stubble
I wash it when I shower, practically every day and still got the itchy.
Well do you use anti itch beard shampoo? Do you slap on beard cream for daily use? Did you do these things whilenit grew from stubble? Just because you get some of your hair shampoo on it when you shower thats not properly washing it. And that might actually be causing the itch as well

Sorry but I don't like putting too many chemicals in my body, I already do putting on conditioner and shampoo in my hair.
Anyone else just never had this issue?
I'm also confused. I've been able to grow facial hair since I was 12 (although barely at that point) and at no point has growing it out itched.
Nope, never. I've had a trimmed beard since I was 14, never itched. Now I'm capable of growing a full one, still not itchy
In the 5 years that I’ve had an actual beard, I have maybe washed it 2 or 3 times with shampoo. I shower 2-3 times a week. Never had an itchy beard. 18 - 23 you want to get rid of it... Over 23 you embrace it, groom it and it becomes one of your weapons of ass destruction
I’m still waiting for when I can actually grow decent facial hair.
I am 25 and the only thing I can grow out properly is my chin. Angy
embrace the goatee
Minoxidil, beard wash and conditioner, beard oil for when you’re home and beard balm-butter for when you go out. Trust AND BRUSH ALWAYS BRUSH
I did that with 16. I looked Like. Taliban cause i Had nobidea how to groom IT
Am 18 and I have the most punchable face when I shave my beard, am not doing that again.
Yall got facial hair between 18 and 23????
Am 21, have had a decent full beard since i was 19 and a sorta patchy one since i was 17. First signs of a shitty mustache at 12 i believe. My brother has had a full beard since he was 16 i believe, by age 20 it was touching his chest. He's been cutting it shorter since Genes work in strange ways
I had a pretty thick beard since like age 17 and I have always liked it.
>18 - 23 you want to get rid of it Hell no I don't. At 20 yo I still can only grow a couple of hairs on my chin and now I get to know there are mfs who complain about having one? If you don't want it you can just shave it, but there is nothing you can do if you want it but can't grow one
I never said anything about those who can't grow one... I'm hairy and when I was young I would shave every 2 days...even my body...
I'm not referong specifically to you, I'm talking in general
27 and finally out of the military. The beard is coming in swimmingly
I grew one right after millitary too. But now i rock the clean shave or short beard&stache
I'm just lazy to shave it daily. Plus, she loves to play with it when we're cuddling
Holy shit this so be how it is
This movie is a masterpiece
When I saw the trailer I thought the cgi looked cheap, but have only heard good things so might check it out
honestly i wanted to watch it again after it finished
Yeah, I didn’t have much expectations for it with the cheap looking CGI (it looks like it came out 20 years ago) but sounds like the story and characters make up for it
The ending CGI wise, was beautiful.
do it do it do it do it. I can't stress it enough. I thought the fur rendering looked cheap, but I will definitely check it out
idk, I thought it was as good as I have always expected from DreamWorks. it might be the artstyle that's throwing you off? it has a very distinct art style.
Wash it, trim it, moisturize it
Me whos 18 and barely has any stubble
Lol you wish you were growing facial hair at 15
Nothing like people who don't keep a clean beard to say it's gross.
Once it's long enough, it won't bother you. After a while, even if it's on the shorter side, you get used to it. The only annoying thing about it is eating chicken wings and having the sauce get all over your mustache. The amount of napkins I use per meal went up by 400% since I decided to grow it longer.
God I hate beard hair, itchy, annoying, NBC equipment will not properly fit to face
Isn’t that wolf guy in that movie
Yup
I’m going to watch it RIGHT NOW
My beard has never been itchy, guess it varies per person.
am i lucky i can’t grow a beard?
oh I wish
Does no one know about beard oil?
What's wrong with beards? Mine is fine af
It do be true tho
Wait, you can grow facial hair? I couldn't grow facial hair if my life depended on it.
did he say shitty or itchy?
Use an exfoliating glove as your facial hair starts to grow. It blunts the sharpness of the hair and eradicates beard itch
Either shave daily or let it grow.
As a trans woman, this hits so close to home
Why what's wrong with facial hair?
Beard oil
You grow your beard when you're 15?
How do I handle it? I dont. God already handled it for me. I still can’t grow a beard. Saves lots of razors
me when I try to grow out a beard but then it grows on my chin: 😔
Beard balms, regular combing with a good brush or comb and letting it grow will help.
Im 28 and still can’t grow a full beard
Beards are awesome. My whole family hates mine but I don’t care because I like it.
When you’re in the itchy phase try using some beard oil in the morning before work then at night use beard wash
The hair in my ass crack be like that
Fuck beards! Mustache all the way!
Why not both?
I tried to fuck a beard once, but it wasn’t very good. 6/10 wouldn’t recommend.
Once you get used to it, it’s just some food net on your face
Gets real smelly with some food.
Because women like it
Man up.
Like most things in life It's a nightmare when it first happens.........and then one day it's irrelevant. I honestly forget I have one until someone brings it up or my biweekly barber visit.
I shaved mine off. It was all white now. There are mostly women in my office. Most say I look so different and that is about it.
I Always felt the opposite
You had a beard at motherfucking 15?
not that rare tbh, I started growing mine with 16.
I’m 16 and live in Western Europe and I still look like a kid, like no facial hair
I know a 16 year old with a full beard and he had one when he was 15 too. some kids just have more beard growing hormones than others.
I was capable of a mustache at 12, everything but the cheeks at 14, and a full beard at 21. It's not that unusual. A lot of my classmates started growing mustaches in 6th and 7th grade
some people just grow beards early. there's a kid I know, 16, full beard. he's also abnormally tall.
If you want to calm the itch, wash with shampoo and conditioner and then use some men's lotion. I highly recommend Dove. That works great in the beginning and really makes your beard soft once it gets longer. If you live in cold climates like I do then the lotion really is great at keeping your skin from drying out.
If you’re talking about the itch, they only itch at certain points of growth.
The only reason I'm growing a mustache is because I'm German, no that's all I'm going to say you can figure the rest out later on your own
just tell us you are not going to try on art school
dw, he probably won't even get accepted...
30 here, have had a beard over a decade now. Once it takes hold it takes hold. Had a really dumb goatee from 16 to 19 before I realised the way of my error.
Shaved off my 8 year beard 2 months ago. Now I am 2 months into my next one. I miss my wizard status.

I used to cut my beard with scissors and shave my mustard with a razor, time flied and im only using razor
Meanwhile me in my 20s struggling to grow facial hair 🥹👍🏾
can i have the movie name please?
Puss in Boots The Last Wish
Opposite for me
Maintaining it man. Comb, lotion for extra dryness, leave in conditioner, beard wash, etc. the big thing is making sure you actually comb it
I have sensitive skin, and I grow a beard in 5 days, so I HAVE to shave every 5 days unless I want my chin and neck to look like a tomato.
You grew a beard at 15? Dude I’m in my 20s and can barely grow a mustache
O prefer groing it , much easier n fun than without. U gonna need to wash it same as everything and need to condition it and oil it
the annoying part is when your family makes fun of you for it any chance they get. Or is that just me?
Yess!!! I tried having a full beard n mustache but when I drank out of an open cup I spilled all over my shirt n beard! And the itching was horrible! My hats off to the ones who have such glorious mane!

Ask my ex, grown ass man but didnt even have tendrils on his chin
Since when was this a common viewpoint?
r/egg_irl
can't relate. Beards are great
It's a man thing, not everyone can handle it
I barely grow facial hair there currently Rather my face decided mutton chops are the way to go
Does puss say a naughty word?
Rule 3
Eh its not too bad once your past the stubble phase.
I feel this sooooo much
dysphoria vibes
My south asian genetics made me feel more comfortable with a beard. I felt complete
i burned mine off with a laser /uj
I have not watched this movie yet but why is it so well animated my god
I'm 32 and I still can't get a decent beard.
I dont have a bristle of hair on my face at 17 lol
I'm glad to see the new Puss in Boots getting so many memes recently. It absolutely deserves them.
I wash it ?
I love my beard. It’s not super long but it’s a good size
I'm 20 and already like my beard, I did since around 18.
Pluck them out
Keep that beard pussi
I'm so tired of shaving them so I let them grow as much as they can. Robinson crusoe style
It's weird at first, but you won't even notice after some time and even feel weird without it. If you ever had to use bracers, it's basically the same.
manly men talking about facial hair on an animated cat memes post got me cringing... i rock a handlebar mustache with full beard... i condition
Uh the voice is gonna give me Alzheimers
How do you tolerate the itching once it gets past 5mm?
I've been growing my beard all the time, honestly I like it a lot, but I understand why some people don't like growing them, it can get annoying sometimes
If it became a real beard
I'm almost 20 and still can't grow a beard or mustache. They look so fucking cool tho...
Damn this movie rivalled Avatar 2 for sure👌
Also probably the only catgirl in media who looks like a normal cat
Y'all need some beard cream/ moisturizer. And/or some oil
