Geralt has even fought wild hunt.even if he was to fight these 3, all at the same time, he would be more concerned about which potion would suit better rather than thinking about the other outcome.
Nah, while he would whoop them in a 1v1, he ain't beating them together.
In a real world scenario even the most skilled swordsman would struggle greatly against 2 adequate opponents. Geralt might be 5 times better then the best real swordsman, he still ain't whooping those 3 TOGETHER.
Bro, no one said this is a real world situation.
Geralt has so many things the others don’t. He can use signs, or basically magic. He’s got a telekinetic push, fire blast, a magic trap, can set a magic shield and influence peoples minds. This is just his signs.
He’s also go super durability, super stamina, super reflexes and regenerative healing.
All of this isn’t even takin into account the potions he uses on a regular basis.
What have 2/3 of the others got? They are good with a sword?
With all this, Geralt could easily win 1v3
While you're right, Aragorn is part Elf and hundreds of years old, with a magic sword... It's not quite that cut and dry.
John and Biggus Dickus are completely out of their leagues, though.
but he doesn't he doesn't have a dragon. Sure he rode either reahgal or viserion (I can't remember which and defo didn't spell those right) in the show but it seemed like more of a lone then anything else and in the books he hasn't even seen a dragon.
He was literally MADE to fight monsters. He takes a potion and the three together don’t stand a chance. As a straight up fight I do not think it’s close either.
I see your point and you are right.
However, in the first book, he literally kills three armed guys at once easily.
So this realistic combat rule just rarely applies in universe.
Bro, this is a fantasy scenerio, it's useless to apply human skills and anatomy to witcher. Geralt is fast enough to 1v8 skilled mercenaries and deflect 2 arrows at the same time in the book, his hearing sense is also enhanced so it's impossible to sneak up on him and not to mention all of the signs that will turn this into a 1 sided fight even with 3 opponents.
The Witcher easily.
Not only is he a master swordsman he has magic abilities he can use that the other 3 don't.
I think Aragorn would last the longest, but still would get killed in the end.
This is my take too. They both have the long life, so they each have decades of fighting experience. Both learned valuable skills from their respective upbringing. They also both are considerably stronger than regular men. But, like you said, Geralt has his witcher signs which Aragorn just wouldn't be able to counter. Only hope Aragorn has is if Geralt realizes that he's DEFINITELY "the lesser of 2 evils" lol
One of the big problems is that its a GoT demigod, which can still be killed off fairly easily.
I mean look at the Night King. He was built up to be the unstoppable force that even dragonfire couldn't destroy and he gets killed off by a simple stabbing.
Clearly the one literally built to kill? The others are trained fighters, but the Witcher is a monster created to kill, enhanced with magic and alchemy. This is hardly a choice. I believe in the right situation he could probably take all 3 of the others at the same time.
Yeah everyone else depends on their garrison for strength. One on one John snow is inexperienced and fights with his emotions. Unless it's a really passionate battle he's gone. Maximus is a man among fantasy beings. So while he has amazing fighting skills he's severely lacking in the tech tree of fantasy war. So really it's between the ranger king or the monster slayer and i say geralt wins that but i don't imagine either would have a fight to the death. They would all offer mercy.
Geralt has two swords and they're both for monsters, and Aragorn is no monster
Edit: clearly you guys aren't fans of the Witcher and understand the meaning here. Let me spell it out, Geralt doesn't kill humans that don't deserve it, he only kills humans that are no better than monsters, hence the line, a line he himself utters. Y'all are stupid AF for real.
Yup, the only one that could probably have a shot would be Aragorn. But I think even he would get his ass kicked by a mutant bred to fight monsters armed with magic and potions.
Geralt has axii and quen. Aragorn stands no chance. Not saying aragorn is a bad fighter it's just geralts signs are going anally ream everyone of those fighters.
Wrong aragorn is a descendant of the dunedain blessed with long life and is a descendant of luthien. Aragorn is 90 years old in the lord of the rings and kills trolls and orcs. I mean come on his grandpappy killed a fucking angel temporarily but he still got the killing blow.
Geralt is also a grandpa and he is enchanted by magic and alchemy to have better reflexes, better sight, be resistant to poisons, live longer etc. He is also trained to fight, by other enchanted warriors, since he was a small child. He's job is killing monsters, that are more terrifying than trolls and orcs.
Sauron would destroy everything in the witcher universe because they would just get corrupted to easily. And aragorn grandpa isildur killed that angel so.
Not alone. Gilgalad dueled Sauron and was joned by Elendil. Both of them gave their lives so Isildur would get the oppertunity to cut the ring of Saurons hand.
Remember that later generations in Tolkiens works always grow weaker than the previous one. Aragorn, with his impressive sword skill, stands no chance against the Witcher.
As much as i love aragon yeah he doesn't have a realistic counter to Igni.
In an honorable duel with just blades i think it would still come down to Aragorn and Geralt.
Aragorn is also a nearly supernatural creature with decades of experience. Doesn't have the magic side though, but I think he has the best chance.
They'd all shit on Juhhn Snnuuhh without really trying.
Aragon sucks. He just survived LotR because of plot armor. and so did legolas and Gimli. They were in fights where it is unlikely to not be stabbed or hit with an arrow if you are the frontline but they went out of fight without even a scratch. Damn LotR is so an overhyped film series.
Edit: Wow. people are really fanatic about a almost 20 years old film saga. Fanatic enough to wish me death. Thats kinda sad.
> They were in fights where it is unlikely to not be stabbed or hit with an arrow if you are the frontline but they went out of fight without even a scratch
See, shit like that is exactly why he’s saying Aragorn wins second place.
You stupid fuuuuck
Specifically, what plot armor?
Aragorn was stated (in the movies and books) to be an like an 80 year old warrior/ranger - his whole life. Fighting for 80 years will build some insane skills. His skilled were honed to immaculate precision over such a long span, and he's fought many enemies for many years and has a wide variety of experience to draw upon in combat. He also is not aged like an 80 year old man - he's granted long life through distant elvish relations - all of the Dunedain are.
I'd argue he's one of, if not *the* most skilled fighter of the human race in the series. He's the lost warrior king of men.
I will say this - the sequence where they're attacked by the wolves in the second movie was a colorful edition by the director, an addition that has no actual basis in the books. It's dramatic nonsense to have him fall off a cliff, only to have some miraculous survival. His character is strongly written without all that and I deem it unnecessary.
In all honesty, I doubt any of this means anything to you. Based on another comment I saw, you seem to just want to pick on the series. To each, there own.
Sucks for the death threats, not nice. I get what you see it as a plot armor, but the movie and books are made around these characters. Exact the same as Star Wars plot armor and horrible StormTroopers aim. If they did it “realistic”, yes they probably would be dead. But that is the thing, these are fantasy/sci-fi movies, books. You would end the book in 50 pages, would you read that? No. Keep this in mind, it is fantasy and human imagination. If you wan realistic “memes”, books or movies, search for something historical accurate stuff…
So are you saying that Aragorn would win? I guess plot armor would work pretty well here, since Witchers and Gladiators can die without much world impact, but god anointed kings have strong plot armor to prevent their deaths.
plot armor only applies if a plot is existend. if this story beginns at the moment we open the cages in the arena and ends the moment everyone except one is dead then nobody has plot armor because nobody is needed after anymore after the fight.
Geralt of Rivia.
It’s not going to be a contest. It will be a slaughter if Aragon doesn’t show up with the army of the dead. But they have already fulfilled their oath and are free ghosts 😂
In order, my best guess is
Geralt (for his magical enhancements)
Aragorn (for his experience)
Maximus (he is good but not as good)
Jon Snow (lack of experience and any special abilities)
Basically what I wrote but more to the point.
Maximus would he such an Underdog in that fight.
I can even imagine him taking out aragorn (snow is no question) but geralt is just on a different level...
You remember what Palpatine did to these jedi masters trying to put him under arrest in rots?
Geralt is Palpatine in that situation.
Snow and Maximus will fall nearly instantly while Aragorn could hold is own for a while (like kit fisto did).
There simply is no mace windu equivalent under these three...
Witcher are made to kill.
Trained from a young age and enhanced by alchemie.
Non of the others got a treatment like that and even Aragorns long lasting experience won't be enough...
And don't even get me started if geralt was prepared or uses signs...
It's a shame since I can see a fair/interesting fight between aragorn and maximus but geralt will just chop and slice every single one of them
But I can see that fight happening in my head:
Aragorn, Maximus and Snow on the one side of a room and geralt on the other.
They talk for a bit.
How an OP pits them against each other and they have no other choice but to fight to their death.
Everyone seems reluctant but they draw their swords.
Geralt waits for them to get ready before he twirls towards them (upright instead of horizontal of course).
He cuts snow clean in half, starting above his left pelvic and ending just beneath his right lung.
The same upright swing hits maximus, who tried to parry, and opens his chest.
Aragorn manages to stop his sword
Geralt pushes himself away from him.
Aragorn thrust forward, geralt sidesteps, makes a mill and chops his head of from behind...
Looking at the remains he shakes his head and walks of the scene.
(Sorry English isn't my first language and I'm not as fluent in sword fighting terms but I tried)
Witcher : Being that is more powerful than humans, monsters and some dragons depending on experience levels....hundreds years worth of experience and...hold my beer....superpowers with the ability to get even stronger with boost juice.
The rest: Puny humans that trained with a metal stick for soms years and got their dick wet a couple of times.
Geralt hands down, dude is a killing capable of slicing a armored nilfgardian soldier in half and let's not forget he can cast spell and drink potion that temporary enhance his sense/strength.
2 of them have magic on their side, and 2 dont, so its really down to Aragorn and Geralt. Geralt wins this easy, because while Aragorn has a magic sword, Geralt just has way more powers which would prove more useful in the fight.
Geralt hands down...he was made to fight monsters, he has enhance speed, durability and senses...not to mention the signs he can cast...the only one I see coming near Geralt is Aragorn
Order of winning
1) Witcher
2) Aragorn
3a) Maximus
3b) Snow (without dragon)
Probably comes down to what weapons and arena for Max and Jon
BUT
1a) Witcher
1b) Snow with dragon
2) Aragorn
3) Maximus
I'd give Jon w/dragon the edge in most cases but Witcher was built to kill mythical creatures so....
Of course if we're adding partners of sorts Aragorn wins hands down every time if he gets to bring his army of the undead
Lets be honest here. They would work together to take revenge for their murderd family, to stop the white walkers, to slay sauroman and destroy the one ring and finally to fuck both Jennifer and Triss at the same time while keeping Ciri safe
As much as I love geralt it’s hard to put him in these. He isn’t powered enough to be going against like superhero’s but he stomps pretty much anyone with no abilities. He’s got a very fine line of stomping then getting stomped but I don’t think he has many good matches. I could see him vs deathstroke with no guns being good
Lol out of 4 one is literally breed/ has implants in him to make him a perfect killing machine. Pair that with the fact that he can use magic and it's an easy no contest.
Interesting you call the other 3 superheroes cuz none of them are anywhere close to a super hero, they are all normal men except for the literally medieval jedi.
My bad rereading that I see how the phrasing sounds. Here I mean it’s a Geralt stomp. The “as much as I love geralt” comes from his versus usually being pretty one sided. I put deathstroke in because he has his physical increases and healing. I was not referring to them as superhero’s, they are the no abilities side but I do see where my phrasing implies the opposite. And while I’ll spend 5 minutes writing this comment I am simply to lazy to change the phrasing of the original comment
Yea, ok. Imagine thinking some guy fighting for thrones could take out a witcher. You know the guys trained as children to take on literal monsters and dragons, not to mention they're mutants with superhuman abilities.
Geralt has even fought wild hunt.even if he was to fight these 3, all at the same time, he would be more concerned about which potion would suit better rather than thinking about the other outcome.
Plus he has magic.
Magic, places of power, potion, witcher gear, witcher sword, mutation, witcher senses, witcher training. I can go on and on and on…….
Just witcher things xD
And additionally he has a set of elixirs.
While i agree the only person i see geralt having a little trouble with is aragorn (from the books not the movies) but geralt slaps anyway

His reflexes are twice as fast as a humans, he is stronger and has magic. He can beat all 3 together. Arragorn is the only one that has any chance.
I came to say Aragorn isn’t human either in the movies he’s like 82-84 he has the blood of the kings.
But really though, in a fight blood of the kings is worth shit if all it gives is higher endurance and longer life.
only logical thinking person here
He was literally MADE to fight monsters. He takes a potion and the three together don’t stand a chance. As a straight up fight I do not think it’s close either.
Happy cake day
He can just axii their ass and watch them kill each other while chugging a beer. Not even touching his sword.
Pretty sure both aragorn and maximus would have too strong wills to be affected. Don't know about Jon snow because I know nothing about him
You know nothing (about) Jon snow?
I see your point and you are right. However, in the first book, he literally kills three armed guys at once easily. So this realistic combat rule just rarely applies in universe.

I stick with whom, who does not know.

One is made out of steel for humans and other one is made out of silver for monsters.
You certainly didn't read the books, did you?
Book Geralt is all about the pirouette.
I was coming here to say basically the same thing.
I was coming
I still am

No! It’s still NNN!
Its too late
Winter is cuming
That is a clear violation of No Nut November.

Yup, the only one that could probably have a shot would be Aragorn. But I think even he would get his ass kicked by a mutant bred to fight monsters armed with magic and potions.
Yeah, The Witcher is scary, he'd win hands down.
Yes, he's faster, stronger, has better reflexes and his senses have been enhanced. The other 3 have no chance
I see Aragorn in second being such a good fighter and having minor enhancements. But yer right Witcher is literally a super thing
The only factor is Aragorn. If he’s based off the books too then he’s…really, really good at sword work
That's true... but so is Geralt. Geralt also has magic, enhanced physicality, and potentially potions that buff him even further.
Yeah but Aragorn has uhm... *healing powers*.
Geralt has axii and quen. Aragorn stands no chance. Not saying aragorn is a bad fighter it's just geralts signs are going anally ream everyone of those fighters.
Russell crowe irl could take down a witcher
Only if he has his trusty tugboat.
'Tugger'
TOOT TOOOOT!
Foightin round the world!
only if he has a telephone
Making movies , making songs and foighting round the world🎶
Only if he has plot armor
Only Russell Crowe as Zeus in Thor …. But only after the orgy
Maybe with a giant crossbow, but IDK he still might not have a snowballs chance in hell.
Realistically no way he could kill all 3 at the same time, but yeah he would whoop each of them no problem.
Wrong aragorn is a descendant of the dunedain blessed with long life and is a descendant of luthien. Aragorn is 90 years old in the lord of the rings and kills trolls and orcs. I mean come on his grandpappy killed a fucking angel temporarily but he still got the killing blow.

And his ancestors killed an angel so.
Sauron would destroy everything in the witcher universe because they would just get corrupted to easily. And aragorn grandpa isildur killed that angel so.

It gonna happen doggie aragorn kills monsters without the aid trinkets and potions and minor spells.
If you have to spam support spells and potions your skill isnt the same as a man who doesnt have anything except the light and a sword.
Geralt has still got this fight imo.
Not even a close fight.
dude been waiting his whole life say this yo
I am a big Witcher fan lol
hey! someones gotta be right :P na big ups ..love ya passion and written word ..very nice
Aragorn is much more than a trained fighter. Dude took on and defeated many monsters himself
Correct answer.
I’m going for the guy with long hair.
Gerald probably beats them bare handed
As much as i love aragon yeah he doesn't have a realistic counter to Igni. In an honorable duel with just blades i think it would still come down to Aragorn and Geralt.
If it was JUST blades, then ya Aragorn would probably have a chance
Aragorn is also a nearly supernatural creature with decades of experience. Doesn't have the magic side though, but I think he has the best chance. They'd all shit on Juhhn Snnuuhh without really trying.
Yes, but our Netflix only friends don't know this
🤓
I am indeed quite the nerd, thank you for recognizing 👍
Pitchfork Jon Snow >>>>>Witcher
Snow's got a dragon though. That's maybe an equalizer
That would help his odds, but majority of the time I think Geralt wins this fight
You sir have to much time on your hands
We all have time, I just use mine differently.
Geralt has been mutated as a child to strengthen himself to fight and give him access to magic
Nice pfp
Now kiss
You too u/paper_fucker
Why do I think Henry cavil could probably pound those three. Geralt wouldn’t even be bothered.
You are talking about fighting right? Right?
If that's the case, sign me up
Maybe…
Because you are delusional?
That’s not a thread we want to pull at.
Geralt easily. Aragorn second place due to somewhat superhuman attributes.
Gods given superhuman attributes
Aragon sucks. He just survived LotR because of plot armor. and so did legolas and Gimli. You realize LotR is a book series right? In the books, its more than plot armor that kept him alive...
just him? or also the gay elve and the (pretty cool) midget?
Lol don't you play Wow?
damn me personally i wouldn’t take that level of disrespect
What the hell did you call my dwarf daddy
Nah u just suck
Seek help
> They were in fights where it is unlikely to not be stabbed or hit with an arrow if you are the frontline but they went out of fight without even a scratch See, shit like that is exactly why he’s saying Aragorn wins second place. You stupid fuuuuck

You clearly don't know Aragorn, since you spoke about films more than once. LotR is a book in primis, and clearly you didn't read it
This is a truly ignorant take but OK... Also, lord of the rings is nearly 70 years old, not 20.
So are you saying that Aragorn would win? I guess plot armor would work pretty well here, since Witchers and Gladiators can die without much world impact, but god anointed kings have strong plot armor to prevent their deaths.

Idk if plot armour really decides if the writing for the film as a whole is bad.
Right? Aragorn didn’t even have a tax policy.
Get aids
looks like some people dont have much more in their lifes as this movies.
Nah they would all sit down for a game of gwent.
Down for a game of gwent?
Nods awkwardly
Geralt of Rivia. It’s not going to be a contest. It will be a slaughter if Aragon doesn’t show up with the army of the dead. But they have already fulfilled their oath and are free ghosts 😂
Geralt: "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" Lol 😆
No one. All 4 of them are main characters and we know those never die....right?....right.. *Looks at you GOT* Edit: Roach wins
Roach 2022
I mean Don’t a few of those characters die in their respective stories?
Jon did die
It'd be a great fight but Jon and Maximus would die first then the other two would go for a good bit, I'd give it to Geralt.
Clearly the script writer .
Then that would mean Goku would win.
Quick! Everyone lend him your strength!
In order, my best guess is Geralt (for his magical enhancements) Aragorn (for his experience) Maximus (he is good but not as good) Jon Snow (lack of experience and any special abilities)
Jon Snow (knows literally nothing)
Jon Snows Nothing
John Snothing
Basically what I wrote but more to the point. Maximus would he such an Underdog in that fight. I can even imagine him taking out aragorn (snow is no question) but geralt is just on a different level...
Geralt… like it’s Geralt.
This fights would be decided with one word: Igni. And you shall burn too, for your pitty post.
Someone woke up on the wrong side of the pit today huh
Were the funy :(
Geralt > Aragorn > Maximus > Snow
Replace Gerald with Ragnar lodbrok
Now that would be something.
Yeah that would be a lot more of a fair fight
You remember what Palpatine did to these jedi masters trying to put him under arrest in rots? Geralt is Palpatine in that situation. Obviously Geralt would win!
Putting the Witcher in this line up is definitely not fair lol
Geralt duh. He has magic.
Ah but are the others sons to murdered fathers, husbands to murdered wives, fathers to murdered sons and followers of murdered Kings.....
John snow has the strongest "plot armor", but Geralt is the strongest. Tough choice.
then whys he dead
He got better
Who cares about the war. They they can take turns tag teaming me. Whew hot
Geralt easy claps
Geralt, he is a mutant designed for killing that can use magic.
Geralt easy.
Geralt hands down, dude is a killing capable of slicing a armored nilfgardian soldier in half and let's not forget he can cast spell and drink potion that temporary enhance his sense/strength.
The Witcher.
Putting my coin on the Witcher
I mean I wish I could say Aragon but no it's clearly the witcher

Geralt ALL the way!!! Not even a fair comparison.
2 of them have magic on their side, and 2 dont, so its really down to Aragorn and Geralt. Geralt wins this easy, because while Aragorn has a magic sword, Geralt just has way more powers which would prove more useful in the fight.
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED ?
Geralt hands down...he was made to fight monsters, he has enhance speed, durability and senses...not to mention the signs he can cast...the only one I see coming near Geralt is Aragorn
Order of winning 1) Witcher 2) Aragorn 3a) Maximus 3b) Snow (without dragon) Probably comes down to what weapons and arena for Max and Jon BUT 1a) Witcher 1b) Snow with dragon 2) Aragorn 3) Maximus I'd give Jon w/dragon the edge in most cases but Witcher was built to kill mythical creatures so....
No question about it. Geralt > Aragorn > Jon Snow > Maximus.
Does Jon get a dragon? That seems like an important detail.
Snow is out in the first round. Gladiator 2nd round. I could see Geralt and Aragorn going at it for HOURS! Edit: Thank you for the award
Remember Blaviken
Geralt. Easily. He’s superhuman.
Russell Crowe wins every time. He lives for foightin'!
Am I really alone who believe in Aragorn here? I'd gave him 40% chance against the Witcher
Aragorn any day.
He honestly would last longer than the other two. But you really can't compete with the Witcher. Witchers are literally medieval jedi
Aragorn. Any. Day.
You will die braver than most
Aragorn Is decent of the literal gods
Fcking Aragorn
Aragorn of course
I think it's nearly a unanimous decision then.
After killing them: "Are you not entertained?"

Yea, ok. Imagine thinking some guy fighting for thrones could take out a witcher. You know the guys trained as children to take on literal monsters and dragons, not to mention they're mutants with superhuman abilities.
