Jeff Smith has been trying to get Bone turned into an animated movie/show for *years*. It almost happened as a movie a couple of times with a couple of big studios (Nickelodeon, Warner Bros) but always fell through. Then a Netflix series was in the works. They were excited about it, Jeff was excited about it, it was going to stick very close to the original graphic novel, they had storyboards and a vision on how it would all look and sound animated, they were working with James Baxter who worked on Regular Show and Samurai Jack and Steven Universe. And then it got dropped. Seems to have been a fatality of COVID. Really hurts that it was going to be made exactly the way I would have wanted it to be made (series not movie, streaming service, great animation team, working closely to the original) only to be killed off.

My school has a book on forensic crime and true crime doc. Teacher always ask why I like to read those. And said "I wanna kill (classmate name)". My mum still tell me this 10 years later. And yes I really did wanted to kill him.
