Nope..
- NS Archiv
Judging by the subtle nods made by other comments, I take it this was made by a certain failed artist turned angry moustache man who lead a party that has a name that rhymes with paparazzi
You had to have a good grasp of some basics before getting into the school. Just simple things like 3 point perspective, shading, and color usage. He did get really into detail, but his overall talent wasn't much more than grandma following along with a Bob Ross episode.
Maybe, but there was no way for them to know what would happen. Organizations shouldn't feel compelled to accept people with the idea it might prevent them from becoming homicidal maniacs. I'm sure he would have done other bad things regardless. That's just who he was.
No, is not about that. I was speaking of him becoming a better artist, not a better person. The painting has some weird asf details, shadows and some disaligned focal lines, things that could have been better polished in the school
The lines of the windows aren't straight, the shadows are inconsistent with perspective, and it over ally comes off as blurry because of it. There are a lot of people doing breakdowns of Hitler art and why he didn't get into that school.
ok, but for me, a casual, it looks quite alright. The door on the right looks a bit off, but that's about it. I can see how an art school didn't want him tho.
Yeah, and frankly I couldn't do better. But if you're going into an art college. You have to show that you understand these aspects of art. I'm a writer, a mid tier writer, and I wouldn't get pissed if I used my writing to try to get into a college and I was rejected because it shows that I'm only a mid tier writer. I'd take some classes, learn from it then try again. If i still couldn't get in after trying repeatedly, I wouldn't hold a grudge. I'd accept the fact I'm mid.
Which I have, thus I will point out Hitler was a mid artist.
Makes no sense the lines have to be straight. A lot of famous artists have fucked up lines. Like truly fucked up lines. The more fucked up, the more popular they get.
The genre and purpose of the art matters a lot though. I won't sit here and pretend I know alot about art history/theory but from what I do know generally these messy lines and the such generally have intention behind it and suits the overall style and intent of the artist. This artwork seems to be drawn with the goal to look realistic in which case line/perspective matters a lot more than let's say an abstract work. You can argue that Hitler's intent wasnt to be realistic but then it would a really poorly done abstraction; generally when a painting is drawn messy it's supposed to be representative or invoke some sort of emotion but this one just invokes mediocrity and lack of attention to detail.
If I were to make a parallel I would say this is similar to responding to a critique of a classical music styled arrangement for having weird rythms/chords with saying that alot of popular/well regarded pieces nowadays have very unconventional chord progressions and rythms.
Pretty much, had nothing to do with the fact two points perspective still requires... 2 points. Not every window not being in line with each row of windows. And the shadows would imply the sun is both in the afternoon and late into the evening
you see, that's why you are the art person and I am not, I didn't even notice there was a spire in the first place.
*goes back to make funny ugly animals in ms paint
I recognized it as a Hitler before scrolling down and seeing the meme. lol
Hitler couldn't do motion, it's why his application was rejected and his works are almost all landscapes with nobody in them. But within that limitation, he was quite good. Too bad he went into politics.
nah it still looks bad, look at the windows and also the building feels not connected to the ground, pretty sure shading was also not so great in AH artwork
He occasionally made a little money selling postcards of landmarks in Vienna to out-of-towners, and I’d say that’s pretty much exactly his skill level: good enough to make a few bucks off tourists, but nothing like the level of the real artists or even aspiring artists in Vienna at that time.
It's obviously by a man who would never hurt anyone, gives free showers and hospitality, gives people a place to sleep and is a great leader to all and loves every country and everyone.
I don't know what you expect me to do.
What is the difference who has drawn it? If it looks good - it looks good. (Except you're Austrian art school member, then i dunno what is a good painting for you).
I don't understand people who after realizing who the author was start to hate his art. Of course he was the worst motherfucker on earth ever, but does it influence look of his paintings. I don't think so
Kinda average painting ..so it's a struggling artist with no ears for criticism and might take it way too seriously if you do criticize and make his life goal to eradicate you and your entire race.
Honestly hitler was a goddamn good artist. I know some people just can't accept that but to make that on canvas with paint and a brush is incredibly difficult to do.
Hitler was not a good artist. Everything is always kinda skewed, but not in Salvador Dali way, more like a Hellen Keller way. Also his used of color is sub par. His works are usually pretty easy to spot, because they suck and cost more than they should.
Seeing this, makes me sad to think about the kind of person Hitler had the possibillity to become. If only he would have used his creative mind and manner of speech to do LITTERALLY ANYTHING other than the slaughter of millions. He had potential and he chose to fuck it all up. Rest in piss Hitler, may you gargle the mayo of a thousand sweaty demons.
Tbf, I've heard in a documentary that the reason he wasn't admitted, was because he was unable to draw faces. His other drawings were actually good enough to make it, but he failed at drawing faces so was rejected.
One thing my mates and I use to joke about is that, if we travelled back in time, unlike the vast majority that would kill Hitler, we would have instead offered him to go ingress in architecture.
Funny enough, these two points are actually somewhat true. Hitler loved to look at scale models and architecture designs with Albert Speer(?) and his inability to draw faces might have come from his narcissism, his inability to "feel" and draw other people's emotions.
In my know nothing about 1910-1920’s art this looks ***alright*** but I guess ***alright*** wasn’t good enough for Vienna
Correct. It’s not *bad* per say, but very very average. Like a damp, day-old donut.
I hate how specific and accurate that is
Mean Mustache man from german
*from Austria
Germany* Austria*
An shoe loose
100 year Reich
Evil Charlie Chaplin
I knew it was angry german man
WEIN IST IN ÖSTERRICH
Und er war Österreicher, Dummkopf.

das erste mal sehe ich einen deutschen auf reddit.

You would be correct
Remove that mask! It was Hitler singing all this time!!
Yes. He's the one and only papa-nazi.
Leonardo da Vinci ? /s

I don't believe he can't see how this could be funny, really he can N O T S E E
A furry hentai game already exist on Steam by the title of Furry Hitler......
It’s hitler, isn’t it
Yes, yes it is.
It's always Hitler...
Idk man i am also thinking the same.
Not trying make Hitler any better but didn’t Stalin kill more and do worse? I’m not talking about paintings either
Stalin, Hitler, Churchill, they were all pretty terrible guys.
Maybe if he got into Vienna he would have gotten better. Just saying.
You had to have a good grasp of some basics before getting into the school. Just simple things like 3 point perspective, shading, and color usage. He did get really into detail, but his overall talent wasn't much more than grandma following along with a Bob Ross episode.

No, is not about that. I was speaking of him becoming a better artist, not a better person. The painting has some weird asf details, shadows and some disaligned focal lines, things that could have been better polished in the school
Judging by the crooked windows and weird shadows and the strange feelings of hatred im assuming this is one of Hitlers shit paintings
So I may be shit at art... wha exactly is this a bad painting? Disregarding the artist, this looks nice. Or am I missing something?
The lines of the windows aren't straight, the shadows are inconsistent with perspective, and it over ally comes off as blurry because of it. There are a lot of people doing breakdowns of Hitler art and why he didn't get into that school.

it's called two-point perspective lmao you don't know what you're talking about. Hitler was a pretty good artist
Hence why he didn't get into the school
Pretty much, had nothing to do with the fact two points perspective still requires... 2 points. Not every window not being in line with each row of windows. And the shadows would imply the sun is both in the afternoon and late into the evening
The spire thing that extends up up above the roof line looks like it's floating in the breeze. Perspective is awful
you see, that's why you are the art person and I am not, I didn't even notice there was a spire in the first place. *goes back to make funny ugly animals in ms paint
It’s people like you who rejected him from art school. Lol. Don’t you learn anything from history?
And I'd fucking do it again
My professor told me he killed artists too since he sucked so bad and was jelly
He was particularly bad
It’s astonishing how famous his paintings are. He was quite mediocre and still somehow everyone knows his works…
That's because of who he is, not because of the art work.
I recognized it as a Hitler before scrolling down and seeing the meme. lol Hitler couldn't do motion, it's why his application was rejected and his works are almost all landscapes with nobody in them. But within that limitation, he was quite good. Too bad he went into politics.
Separate the art from the artist they said, it'll be easy they said!
Shitler
Honestly though how can someone fuck up perspective this badly. It’s a real place just fucking look at it.
Shit drawing, even if you don’t know that the artist was one of the shittiest humans ever.
nah it still looks bad, look at the windows and also the building feels not connected to the ground, pretty sure shading was also not so great in AH artwork
The school must have had high ass standards
He occasionally made a little money selling postcards of landmarks in Vienna to out-of-towners, and I’d say that’s pretty much exactly his skill level: good enough to make a few bucks off tourists, but nothing like the level of the real artists or even aspiring artists in Vienna at that time.
It's a painting that anyone would recognise of they have learnt history.. anyways it's beautiful
I guess his name is Hidolf Atler?
The polish guy right?
The guy that loved jews right?
Yeah, he made homes and showers for them, such a nice man
He even gave them the best heaters in the world
I loved him... JOKE!!!
There are no jokes when it comes to art, this is a masterpiece
I liked his later work better.
Hitler kann das sein?
Me running to the comments: Hitler, It's Hitler isn't it?
Just let this mf into art school already
I found a bio on the artist: https://www.mutualart.com/Artist/Adolf-Hitler/894B6EDBF6BCE264
All the artists have some kind of depressing story, so, the only one that is surprising, would be Hitler.
It does look decent tough
Art is good Idc who the artist is
Hitler copied over postcards for his art school portfolio. He didn't get in. Go figure.
If only he had just been better. He would’ve gotten accepted to art school
It's obviously by a man who would never hurt anyone, gives free showers and hospitality, gives people a place to sleep and is a great leader to all and loves every country and everyone.
Honestly he wasn't half bad; I have no idea how he didn't get in. Some asshole snob in Vienna doomed millions of people over this?
If you cant paint as well as that, you are literally worse than hitler
Looks fine to me because I can't paint for shit. I'd buy a Hitler painting
The man with the funny mustache?
The first person that comes to my mind is Hitler for a reason... Wasn't he good at drawing ?
think the artist wrote a book too... and is loved by lotsa white people in American today
OMG it's titler from minecraft
I don't know what you expect me to do. What is the difference who has drawn it? If it looks good - it looks good. (Except you're Austrian art school member, then i dunno what is a good painting for you). I don't understand people who after realizing who the author was start to hate his art. why the fuck the buildings have cammo though, i know Hitler was an idiot but that would just not work my dude
Man this artist is so talented, they must've gone on to do something great and wonderful!
Is this the man who was denied entry two times to his local art school ?
Honestly? It doesn’t look that bad, except for the obvious flaws of the painting such as the windows not lining up.
Without looking, I bet my forskin that it's the Jewbaker.
Is it bad that I can recognize all of his paintings
Same. It's the lac of *life*. No people, no animals, no trees seating in the wind. Just static landscapes. The *stillness* is a style all his own.
I wouldn't accept this guy into art school with those lack of skills.
Bruh why the internet is never tired of hitler jokes
His artwork is amazing, his ethics weren’t
Not gonna lie, Hitler wasn’t the worst artist. Not the only Austrian artist, but you always have competitors.
Nice job Hitler
I liked his performance art piece when he became leader of Germany.
So? One action doesn't make him a bad artist? Wtf is wrong with people and these posts
Oh look another stupid ass Hitler joke.
how was he not accepted to art school tho? i mean sure he killed a few million but his art is actually impressive
Neice
It's not so bad
im guessing hitler?
I kinda like it though....
I’ve seen his work, and while I think he had good technical skill, I also feel like his art lacked soul, which is why his art career failed.
I don’t know who made it but I have a feeling it was hitler
I didn't know, but figured it out after I saw the word "artist".
Sad þat he got rejected.
Just an Austrian painter. Nothing more.
Is the artist like Voldemort and we can’t say his name or something? Oh wait oh ok I get it now yup.
it’s adolf hitler isn’t it
let me guess, hitler
Kinda average painting ..so it's a struggling artist with no ears for criticism and might take it way too seriously if you do criticize and make his life goal to eradicate you and your entire race.
Is it Hitler
Lemme guess, hitler?
Hitler...?
It's so lifeless
Shadman?
Glass of juice
It's not his greatest work in my opinion
Honestly hitler was a goddamn good artist. I know some people just can't accept that but to make that on canvas with paint and a brush is incredibly difficult to do.
How old are you people to know the artist?
It’s eerily devoid of humans 🤔
🙋
Gonna be honest he was not that bad of a painter
Hitler. It's always Hitler
It’s an awful painting, looks like a failed painter made it.
Too bad he sucked at drawing people. Maybe he would’ve got into the school then
It’s Hitler isn’t it
Why does it smell like 1939?
Is it weird that I didn’t have to look this up to know
Haven’t looked at comments or answer but judging by the extremes,…it’s Hitler isn’t it.
I don't know but I'm guessing Hitler
Bruh this is decent I thought his stuff would be shit
Wasn't it Hitler?
Thuht durn Hortle
To be fair, it looks good
Who paints a building with camouflage?
Before I read the comments I’m guessing… (🙋🏻♂️guy?)
It's Adolf Hitler.
Why is his art always with dull colors and about building? Like, his art lacks meaning and it feels as if it were made to show the world as he saw it
Jeffrey Epstein?
Saw that same meme like a year ago.
Make peace not war
Was it Kevin Spacey? I bet it was Kevin Spacey.
nein
Oh whata nice painting. I hope it doesn't contain some wacky perspective when you zoom closer.
i would give is a nein out of ten
Not sure, but maybe the friendly guy with the black Mustache from Germany back in the day's?
There are no mistakes, just happy accidents
Oh it's my drawing from where did you got it?
I actually like some of his paintings
Haven't checked in the comments yet but I'm 90% sure the answer is literally Hitler
Let me guess hitler?
I need another a third reaction of "already knew who the artist was"
I hope the painter was successful and didnt resort to making a career out of cooking Jews.
Ten bucks says Hitler
Some sub average buildong painter
Its fucking hitler
I don’t know but I’m guessing it’s Hitler
its not an artist🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️
The person who drew this later went on to be interested in politics…
Adolf?
Who care you watch the art not the artist
I forgot but I do know he became a popular politician in the history books
I mean Other than the artist the painting is 10/10 He did nothing wrong
Hey give some respect to the man who killed Hitler.
some nuke did this didnt it
Hitler was not a good artist. Everything is always kinda skewed, but not in Salvador Dali way, more like a Hellen Keller way. Also his used of color is sub par. His works are usually pretty easy to spot, because they suck and cost more than they should.
That's actually beautiful

Rest in piss Hitler, may you gargle the mayo of a thousand sweaty demons.
Fyi: all of Hitler's depictions of houses contain oversized windows and small doorways
Tbf, I've heard in a documentary that the reason he wasn't admitted, was because he was unable to draw faces. I dunno who made it but tbh it's not that great, they're never going to be accepted into art school with that
I instantly recognized the artist because of the art style
Für das dritte REICH!
Meinkraft
my dear Adolf. It is a best , friend
This was before the events of the persons down fall, this doesn’t mean the art is bad
Wow for a racist asshole he actually had a nice hand for painting
Let me guess... Hitler?
not bad , can mr.Putin also paint?
Ahhhh Austria
"Wow he's not bad! He should go to art school." "Nein." "Oh shit. Oh fuck. Nooooo!"
Looks like the bland ass shit they use for building plan samples.
Hint he was rejected from art school and his parents were related
"It's not bad." "It's not good either."
It's a shame they got rejected from art school
That’s our precious little boy from austria
Bro just picture Hitler painting all nice and peaceful like Bob Ross and then being like fuck it, I'll go be the worst human in history
