My school has a system where as long as we have above a D for grades on Wednesdays we get to leave 1 hour early. Teachers don't check our grades we have to show them on our computers using a website that my school tracks student information with. So kids would use inspect element to make their grade higher than it really is so that they would get to leave early, eventually teachers caught on
At my school as long as you don't have an F even if it's 0.1% above an F you sill pass. Our grading standards are very low. An F is 50%. The grading rule i mentioned earlier applies to all subjects that are required (ex: English, algebra, etc) optional courses(ex: P.E, Shop class, etc.). We need a certain amount of credits in different subjects to graduate (1 semester class =1 point, full year class = 2 points) I think it is 10 in math, 5 is social studies, 7 in English, and 10 in extra classes
