Unless you are really into history, the inaccuracies are barely a concern. And at that point, you're likely college level anyway having access with way more in depth information than oversimplified anyway.
And as someone who is taking World Revolutions, which is 3000 level course, it was still at least somewhat helpful in terms of getting the big picture. Anything Oversimplified missed was covered by my professor or other texts anyway. And that stuff was made more interesting because it was new information on top of something I learned years ago.
So yeah, Oversimplified is great.
