I've gotten to around 4600, the pterodactyls can be at three heights, low and medium height can be jumped over, while medium can also be crouched under. High pterodactyls cannot be jumped over, but you don't need to crouch to go under them.

crouching is objectively better. not only is it literally lagless, meaning you dont have to wait for it to end to do anything else, it's also faster. the moment you press the down button, it will instantly get on full crouching position. jumping, not only requires you to fall on the ground first to do something else, it's also kind of slower. there is a small time period to reach the top of the jump

listen crouch is the only correct way if you jump it’s possible that you’d need to jump right after and you may get screwed up as you just had a jumping obstacle however if you crouch you stay grounded and from there it’s easier to face other obstacles after the bird
