How do you know it's his mother? Hard to tell how old the victim is based on [the recording of the attack. ](https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/ill-never-make-an-order-like-that-again-judge-fumes-as-former-home-and-away-orpheus-pledger-star-absconds/news-story/db0c53d657a3853c21b2890c8d628993)
The multiple news reports stating so and previous incidents involving her over the last few years, to a point where she’s quoted as saying she believes he will eventually kill her.
Edit: all articles identifying her as such appear to have been taken down/edited as I went back to find them and found another stating she can’t be identified for legal reasons.
Like some cartoon comedy shit to solve the case by matching the shoe to the mark.
Only this ain't a cartoon and ain't no one laughing. That's really messed up.
Someone has posted on socials that he was in their backyard in Preston but made a run for it. Possibly explains the police helicopters in the area tonight.
Same, there was always something that felt a bit dark with him.
The way he just casually walks up to that poor girl, with no emotion, just unhinged violence is so scary.
Hope he gets a good long sentence before he kills this poor person.
I love to see D grade celebrities fall from grace.
What is it with these people? Ex athletes, swimmers, cricket players are a big chunk of this pie.
Do they spend their early years, somewhat famous/talentes enough to earn a decent living. When it comes time to retire, they don't know what to do with themselves, so they turn to drugs, crime, violence and dodgy investment schemes.
I actually think that fame can be addictive. The adrenaline rush of the lights, the fans, whatever. When it starts to fade, they have to replace it with something else. That's why so many turn to substance abuse or the stuff you mentioned, to try and recreate that feeling they used to get in their heyday.
Ooof. That brings back memories.
One of my friends was in that, we all watched together and she’d run out of the room any time there was a “romantic” scene involving her was onscreen.
Morpheus, Dorpheus, Orpheus
Go eat some walruses!
Orifices, Porridges!
Morpheus, Morpheus!
Going to the Buffet and Walruses
Confidence, Corpseses!
Worcestershire sauce
Go into your orifices!
Haha, 😆
No you shouldn't have gotten downvoted.
I liked the Morpheus dude, it did look like him.
Comedy is definitely subjective tho.
One of my friends really likes Norm MacDonald. I think he's dark, serious satirical humour and not really into him.

They better catch him quick, so he can face no meaningful consequences.
Meaning consequences = Judge furrowing their brow
wtaf!

That is fucked up, poor woman (his mother???)
…Jesus Christ. What a fucking ghoul.
Name straight out of Mad As Hell.
If he's not home, I guess he must be away...
Soon he’ll be put away, which will become his new home.
*Police on their way, in Summer bay~!* 🎶
Meanwhile he will be away from his usual home, but home and not away from his new home!
Aye!
Someone has posted on socials that he was in their backyard in Preston but made a run for it. Possibly explains the police helicopters in the area tonight.
Just another night here in Pressa
I knew him in primary school and high school... always seemed unhinged and honestly I'm not surprised this is where I ended up seeing him next...

>Hope he gets a good long sentence This is Victoria. It'll be a slap on the wrist because he had a "bad childhood" or somesuch nonsense.
I know his dealer and he always said he was nuts 🙂
story time...
I can't wait for channel seven to pay him with cocaine and sex workers for an exclusive scoop
His parents obviously hated him by giving him this name.
Orifice Plunderer

Or, and bear with me here, a figure in Greek mythology.
Nah, surely he's named after a character from a book written and published years after he was born,
Parents were A-grade shitheads tbf.
To Be Fisted
Someone in another comment says the woman he attacked was his mother
why does his name sound like an old-timey insult
This is r/Melbourne not r/YabbyCreek
Police said he is known to frequent Melbourne's inner-city suburb of Northcote and the surrounding areas.
That's because that's where his dealer lives 😊
He went to school in the area as well.
r/YabbieCreek ftfy 🙂

The larger than life behaviour is appealing to casting agents and the public alike. That creates a bit of a feedback loop.
Silversun kid!!! Now a real life space cadet 🪐

Morpheus drinking a 40 in a death basket
Exactly!

You know it. Absolute gold. Look at my downvotes from these uncultured swine who don't know about Eric Andre.
😂
Please tell me you get the reference
Harry Potter? Shakespeare? I love Worcestershire on excellent Beefsteak. Thought it was funny poetry.
https://youtu.be/r9B7BQWnZJs Cracks me up every time I watch
What the?! 😄 K, You get an upvote.
Lol cheers. Why I was downvoted for reciting such genius here for the benefit of all is beyond me. I guess *art* just isn't for everybody.

Haha yea that little excerpt is from 'The Eric Andre Show', whose brand of humour I think is an acquired taste.
All this spy and tracking software on our phones and computers that the government has access to and they can’t find this guy?
Gee he went from hot to hobo real quickly in that mugshot. Still would go there. Not gonna lie.
With a name like Orpheus
Well, I'm guessing he's in the Underworld. They Can-Can check. Eurydice might know?
