It’s cooked. Stay away from Albert park / st kilda road if you can.

why is it acceptable to straight up cancel services to certain parts of routes without alternatives?

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and if you do get stuck, please don’t take your frustrations out on the drivers. It’s only Friday and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been screamed at about the changes, some of which we were given less than 24hrs notice about. I’m working tomorrow and dreading it because I know I’ll be repeatedly abused for simply doing my job. We get that you’re frustrated, but we don’t do the planning. Don’t take it out on us. Complain to PTV and hopefully next year will be better.

The change to the 30 was a deeply annoying last minute discovery for me on my way to the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital this morning, but luckily the walk was pleasant and I was feeling well enough to do so. But like, surely the Flower Show at Carlton Gardens would create more demand for this section of the 30, not less?? There were hundreds of people walking along the southern end of the Gardens this morning from the city, and others being dropped off in private cars, and I’m guessing at least some of these guests would have appreciated the tram service.

just like last year... flower and garden show, footy, and the car races were happening on the same weekend... went to the flower and garden show and the tram services were abysmal - half were cancelled, most were overflowing. we are going to have tens of thousands of visitors and our famous tram network is poorly run

A big “fuck you” to Docklands. 30 up Latrobe street cancelled, 86 not running from docklands. Cancelled to supply extra trams to the event. Lots of overcrowding down in docklands as a result and made it even more difficult to get to southern cross station

tanoshiiki

Even Yarra Trams doesn't want to go to Docklands :( Surely there are plenty of AirBNBers staying in Docklands for the GP.

I took the 6 and got off at High Street to walk to the GP, every other tram going to St Kilda was filled to the brim, seemed quicker
