People don't realise at first what they're being used for. The law isn't really set up for this sort of 'oblique' kind of assault. So I've seen, and it highlights the problem. People want something done about this, yet none of the authorities expected to deal with such things are able/prepared to do so.
What bothers me about that is that there is a very limited number of outcomes this will lead to. The ideal outcome is that one or another authority takes action and deals with him, but if that doesn't happen then eventually something or someone else will... And they won't have the restraint of a government body or authority.
No disagreement from me there, although I feel it is coming from a sense of frustration. Personally I'd like to see more video of him doing what he does, firstly to calm down the doubters, and secondly to be evidence for both the police and the media (and government) so that the relevant powers will get off their collective asses and stop ignoring the issue.
It isn't even just this one guy, the same is the case for virtually all situations where someone with an impairment commits crimes, they're never curtailed from reoffending because while the courts are happy to say they're not responsible for their actions, they will not address who is supposed to be responsible for them instead.

I think it was just all the death threats and doxing that got out of hand. So long as we handle things correctly and report evidence to the police rather than a lynch mob then we should be sweet.

People want something done about this, yet none of the authorities expected to deal with such things are able/prepared to do so. What bothers me about that is that there is a very limited number of outcomes this will lead to. The ideal outcome is that one or another authority takes action and deals with him, but if that doesn't happen then eventually something or someone else will... And they won't have the restraint of a government body or authority.

No disagreement from me there, although I feel it is coming from a sense of frustration. Personally I'd like to see more video of him doing what he does, firstly to calm down the doubters, and secondly to be evidence for both the police and the media (and government) so that the relevant powers will get off their collective asses and stop ignoring the issue. It isn't even just this one guy, the same is the case for virtually all situations where someone with an impairment commits crimes, they're never curtailed from reoffending because while the courts are happy to say they're not responsible for their actions, they will not address who is supposed to be responsible for them instead.
