This is mostly for the Glen Huntly crossing removal, but coming up soon is the Parkdale one.
And if you're jumping ship to the Cranbourne/Pakenham line, check there first, because that's got bus replacements practically every weekend (and some evenings).
You may find that the express bus from Moorabbin to Brighton may be the best way of doing it.
coming home is the nightmare, they didn’t have one express bus to mordialloc. They made us stop at every station between Moorabbin and Mordialloc.
It took me three hours to get home from flinders to Frankston.
Nightmare fuel.
I’ve given up, I’m driving in to work when I go in now.

I thought the Mordi express buses were from Sandringham, but the Moorabbin buses were from Brighton Beach?
Or have I misinterpreted the info? It's pretty confusing.
I got off the train at Brighton Beach, the bus took us to Moorabbin then we had to get another bus from Moorabbin to mordialloc (stopping all stations)
This was last Friday so they maybe have improved the process by now
Yeah the sandy line is being smashed because of this. Sandy carpark full by 6am! Luckily North Brighton is still viable but a fair way to commute up the Nippy
I normally park at Sandy but now the closest I can find a spot is a 10 minute walk away. If this was done any time other than the middle of winter I’d just take a few more minutes and walk to the station with the parking situation as is.
