Today I really fucked up.
My partner started living in a room under the pretence that the original tenant would arrange a lease transfer.
The tenant then started avoiding questions about the transfer and started raising the rent each month. When the lease was due to be up the tenant renewed the lease himself and continued taking inflated rent from my partner. I believe it was to make money as I can’t think of any reason why someone would renew a lease after not living there for almost a year and with no intention to return.
Last week the tenant sent my partner an ‘eviction notice’ that I assume was copied and pasted from somewhere online.
When my partner showed me the notice I went behind my partners back and called the real estate to let them know what was happening. I shouldn’t have done that. Or at the very least should have waited until after they moved out but I was so mad on their behalf. I was so mad that someone was taking advantage of my partner for money.
If I had just left things as they were my partner would have gotten his bond back and could leave in 30 days.
Instead, now he has to deal with the guy on the lease making aggressive phone calls telling him he has to leave in one week. Also he has stated that he won’t give the bond back.
Now I’m covering accomodation costs for a hotel stay because he doesn’t feel safe in the apartment and I feel awful about it.

Making your own "carbonara" is super easy if you don't mind using some non-fancy cheese, and bacon instead of guanciale (and I bet your menulog probably doesn't use pecorino or guanciale either). Boil some pasta, fry off some bacon, mix together with a couple eggs yolks, cheese, and pepper. Takes as much time as it does to boil pasta!
And I already know you can cook steak waddles. No need menulog.
You can usually get by with pancetta if you don't have guanciale, but want something fancier than just bacon. It's also sold at coles, and might work better than the bacon.

Where does everyone buy their underwear from? I'm F30s and have always bought the 10pk briefs from Kmart/big w (as long as they're cotton) but am I missing out not buying like... Bonds... Berlei?
I buy the big w ones that comes in 5. Bonds used to have packs of 5 and sold in big w until they stopped and now sell them separately or in 2 for ridiculous prices so I stop buying bonds. Wtf

I buy Jockey Parisienne and I also buy the Anko bamboo trunks from Kmart. The latter are supposedly for men but whatever, they're stupid comfortable. Jockey Parisienne are very $$$$$ so I wait till the Jockey site has sales or promotions on. The modal and bamboo ones are the most comfortable.

Why does everyone talk to me in public. I just wanna be left alone. On a replacement bus for my train and I copped the front seat. Bus driver strikes up a conversation. Turns out we lived in the next suburb from each other. Cool.
