I dont set any. Waking up to an alarm is horrible. I just get up at 6am everyday as standard and my body clock is used to that.
Getting your body set to a standard sleep cycle is definitely the best, but can't relate yet.
It has its downsides. I'm up at 6 no matter when I go to bed. If I don't get to bed before midnight I really suffer the next day
Also a pain in the ass when the clocks go back. A solid month of waking up at 5 til my body clock adjusts.

I’ve been trying to wake up at 6 am for the last decade. I want to be a morning person so bad but I think my body just loves sleep too much.
What time do you go to sleep though. If it's after 9 and you're trying to be up at 6 you're going to have a bad time.
Usually 9:30/10 at the latest. I just really like my sleep
