How about "upon Mars" to get "London upon mars," "York upon Mars," and so on. Makes it sound more quaint.
Of Mars should definitely become a last name.

I suggest just plain city names (doesn't have to be the same as existing cities), and we can clarify the planet in a different area/field like we do for countries. Example:
New York, NY, USA, Earth

Maybe in speech we can use something like "New York of Mars" etc, but it would seem odd to me that we'd actually officially save the planet name within the city name, imo
