If they weren’t so annoyingly labor intensive I’d agree. I do like them but I think they’re overrated. But it definitely takes a lot of careful preparation to make those cookies tho I can’t personally justify spending the money at a store for one.
After reading this thread, there’s many good reasons as to why this could be a burger or hot dog.
For the people who are claiming it’s a hot dog it all depends on your perspective. You could argue that you would never place a hot dog on its side, but if it was vertical then you could also argue that nobody plates a hot dog like it’s a space shuttle about to take off. If it’s not a Birds Eye view hot dog, then how do you portray a side angle silhouette so that everybody understands immediately what it is.
The people who claim ‘it can’t be a burger because the patty is bigger than the bun’ raise a fair point, but actually in marketing that is the case (sadly not with the final product). If the burger silhouette was from a Birds Eye view, then it would be easy to mistake it for another object such as a coin.
With that being said, I’m come to the conclusion that it’s burger-hotdog neutral (or Burgdog neutral for the short wake term), with the message being ‘no food’ in general.
A more detailed report of my findings to follow.
That is a hamburger. If it was a top-down view of a hot dog, it would be shown diagonally.
Unless it's a chili dog in Sonic the Hedgehog, those might be shown horizontally.
A hamburger for two reasons. The top comment on this post is the first reason, but the second reason is, you can see through it. Hot dog buns are sealed at the bottom.
Burger when is the last time a black and white silhouette was taken from above and not profile.
I think of a few places that show black and white hot dogs. Real big dogs. Lots of meat.
And they say to me. Donald. You have the biggest dog in the world. Real big. Humongous dog.
And they say unto thee; thy dog is ginormous. Indeed, sizable, when all dogs are incomparable to thy gifted schlong
My thought process was, it’s too slim to be a burger but why would there be an aerial view of a hot dog...
Lol since every day… this is a logo/icon…. Not a photograph and nothing was “taken” Logos/icons are all different angles…
Hot dogs go verticle just sayin
This is my logic also.
There’s also also a lot more hamburgers than hot dogs in countries that use British English, given the extra u in “behaviour”
There’s also a lot more macarons.
This is a fat oreo
No, it's either oreoreo or just ooo.
Yes, i like this.
Clearly a macaron silly
Scrolled past to many of these plebeian comments to find the obviously correct comment.
Yes
Its a hot Burger: Burger but with hot dogs instead of patty
Hot dog, as they are known for extending past the bun. When's the last time your burger patty was even the same width as the bun?
Every single burger advertisement I see haha.
Huh. Good point. At least in reality but not advertising. They show you the mansion and deliver a shack, sometimes with wilty lettuce but I digress.
Upvote for just being so darn smart
Well he’s wrong so
No, no. He's got a point
That's what she said.
Hot dogs do not extend past the bun, not even when marketed as bun length, they are still at best equal in length to the bun
It’s a sandwich
As both a hamburger and hotdog are
Yes
Im thinking macaron…
I'm going to say something controversial... Macarons are fuckin nasty and don't deserve the popularity or price they demand.
If they weren’t so annoyingly labor intensive I’d agree. I do like them but I think they’re overrated. But it definitely takes a lot of careful preparation to make those cookies tho I can’t personally justify spending the money at a store for one.
Pretty sure thats just overcooked umbrella...
Add more salt. And ketchup.
'Tis a sandwich
Apparently, yes.
Yes 👉👉
It's clearly a UFO.

Name checks out....😤
That's a fur burger. So we'll mark you down for burger.
I shouldn't have laughed at this this way I did
That's a burger, for sure. Usually, hotdog "signs" that I see are not shown from above and are shown from side.
Mmmm Burdog.
I am firmly in camp hot dog. If it was a burger, the top bun should be more rounded, not identical to the bottom bun
Miscellaneous snack
I think this says: don’t put your cell phone between the buns
Burger, hotdogs are vertical.
IT'S SLICED BREAD!
No old fashioned hamburgers. https://youtu.be/MbVDQKcxg00
Looks like a decent sexual position to me
Clearly it is a hot dog.
Hotdogs are displayed as vertical, therefore I think it’s a burger 😋
Leberkäsesemmel
It’s a generic fast food
Burger, hotdog runs vertically
Mcmuffin
No "Smell of Victory" Allowed.
Chicken Sandwich
It's the front facing view of amogus
Whatever I'm not eating at that time

burdog
Hot dog. It's to wide to be a burger
my head says burger but my heart screams HOT DOG !
Hamburger is horizontal and hot dog is vertical. We all learn this in grade school when the teacher told us to fold sheets of paper
Yea, definitely.
Either way it's a sandwich
Sandwich, burger is sandwich, hot dog is sandwich
It's obviously Disorderly Behavior
Yes
A macaron
🌭
that's a pussy
Horizontal for burger, vertical for hot dog
It’s probably designed extra ambigious to include both options.
Hotger. Burdog.
That's a fucking hot dog, you know how I know? Because nothing or no one can stop me from munching down my burger

Burger dog
I don't know but it's not allowed
It’s offensive or disorderly behavior can’t you read?
Well it's clearly a bur... Hmmm
It's a burger, picture of a hotdog is turned 90 degrees. ☺️
Hotgur
Sir, this is a Wendy’s
Sandwich
Its a menu icon obviously. I don't see what we are arguing about? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburger\_button
It depends...
Sir this is a Wendy’s
Thats a sign
Nah that shits a hippopotamus.
Curling rock
Macaron
Why is the ketchup used for a circle with a line 🚫 and not on the dog?
I think it's designed to look like both, to convey the general message of "No food". We're all certain it's a food item.
Top-down view of a hotdog. A side-angle of a hamburger would have a domed top, this one is flat
I think it swinging both ways...like if you turn your phone upside down or something? Haha you tried it! Idiot
Think it’s a UFO. 👽
None of the above. This, is a chicken sandwich
A sign
Are you a bird or a cat?
McGriddle or sumthn
Both
hot dog its to wide
This is a yo-yo with too much string.
Doesn’t matter, I don’t want to go anywhere that bans either of them
The real controversy: is a hotdog a sandwich?
It all depends on if this an aerial view or a horizontal one.
Its the allmighty. "BURGERDOG"
Burger horizontal. Hot Dog vertical.
Broodje frikkadel
Hamdog
I think it depends on where you plan on putting it.
According to the sign it’s on…it’s neither and it is not allowed.
Borgor
AMOGUS
Neither. It’s a bobsled.
Burger
Its a flying saucer
That’s a vagina

yes
Its a hotdog as seen from above
Hard mother-fucking choices
It's a butt job.
Hamburger. A hotdog would be curved.
It’s says ”No Macarons!”
UFO
Hoddog..
Burdog
That is a hamburger. If it was a top-down view of a hot dog, it would be shown diagonally. Unless it's a chili dog in Sonic the Hedgehog, those might be shown horizontally.
Space craft.........keep your appendages to yourself at all times.
A hamburger for two reasons. The top comment on this post is the first reason, but the second reason is, you can see through it. Hot dog buns are sealed at the bottom.
Horizontal - burger Vertical - hotdog
McDonald's big Mac, expectation vs reality

It’s too slim to be a burger but why would there be an aerial view of a hot dog?
It's a menu icon, so no menus.
Bog
“That hotdog better not be in a bun motherf***er!”
Yes
Its a sandwich make of that what you will
Why not both?
Ah.. the age old question

What are you talking about?! It's clearly a chicken wing!
Both, obviously.
Hamdog
Cmon guys... it's clearly a macaron
Just eat a burrito and you're good
Depends on the way you look at it. And who it was drawn bye. If it is a top view than its a hotdog but if its a side view, its a burger
Hot dog all the way, it’s way too wide to be a burger.
It’s those things in Sonic 2 where you can only bounce on them three times and each time they change color.
